harder to not fail and be overwhelmed with work.

3) Revise the paper accordingly and highlight any changes.
4) Submit the revision and this reflection sheet.

What was the purpose of this writing assignment?

The writing was to explain Chaucer’s definition on love, gender-roles, and or honor. Then add quotes to
express the definition and I chose Gender-Roles because I think that is what is being expressed more
throughout the tale. How does Chaucer story relate to the prompts of love, gender-roles, and honor in The
Wife Tale.

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
The expectations of the rubric I would say I did well on it I got a good grade but not the full points. The
rubric helped on what is expected in the essay and how I should write my three body paragraphs. Also, on
using a clear voice and transitions which I missed. Overall, I tried my best and I got a good grade for that
essay.

What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
What I did well was describing my definition on Gender-Roles. I gave my perspective which made my essay
clear and organized but it was mainly my quotes. I chose to use precise words and well thought out essay.

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?

I chose to revise my essay to fix my errors. The errors were small details but I learned what not to do for my
next essay. Revising it made my essay clear and it grabs the audience attention.

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
In my next assignment I will not procrastinate, turn assignments on time, and have a passing grade. I do not
want to fail my senior year I want to pass to graduate. Hopefully I will succeed like my sister did last year in
her senior year.

To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
I did not achieve my goal I procrastinated and missed the deadline. I will succeed in my next essay to have a
passing grade. To get a good grade for my essays and I will choose to pass not fail. To succeed is not to be
lazy and slow. Which is what I will not do I will finish to have no worries for homework that should be
already done.
