It is true that urban surveillance programs have gained popularity in recent years.

Although some people may argue that public camera usage is a violation of privacy, I

and daily schedules can be disclosed when the main system is attacked by high-tech
thieves. If it is the case, they might make bad use of this information.

the authorities or by private security firms through hidden cameras when going
out in public places.

However, I personally believe that these drawbacks are outweighed by the benefits.
(ý 1)One advantage is that closed-circuit televisions boost police efficiency.
(giải thích ý 1)Instead of travelling to police booths, they can stay at their office and
observe directly via monitors and take timely actions.
(ý 2)Furthermore, surveillance videos help deter potential criminals from
breaking the law ( giải thích ý 2)since they are well aware that their bad actions are
recorded.
(ý 3)In additionally, the use of public cameras makes people feel secure.
( giải thích ý 3)Their properties can be protected round the clock thanks to cctvs in the
residential areas. Also, in case a citizen is attacked by criminals, there are some
recorded evidences from public cameras for police to conduct investigations and
protect the victim.

In conclusion, it seems to me that the merits of using public cameras are more
significant than it possible drawbacks.
