To the Content Validator:

Kindly use this form in validating the quarterly test in (Mathematics Grade 11) constructed by (Group 5 – CTP Educ 5
Summer Class) considering the following criteria:

3 a. There are no mechanical errors (ex: alignment, spacing, spelling, etc.).
b. The font type, size, and spacing used are reader-friendly.

TEST COMMENTS & SUGGESTIONS

READABILITY
Example: Content and Language are both acceptable. However,
TEST No. 3 2 3 The font style used is not reader friendly. You may use
Times New Roman or Arial.
All of the items in interrogative form may be
rephrased into declarative sentence/form. I also
TEST I 3 3 2 noticed that item no. 5 is ambiguous because of
the word ‘manner’. Same comment goes with
item no. 6.
Question in item 11 could be rephrased. Example:
‘A straight angle is an angle whose measure is
TEST II 3 3 2 180°. I also noticed that the item 17 is long and
difficult to understand so I suggest that you
rephrase it or make a new one. 
In the given problem, the word ‘bot’ was
misspelled. The figure should be placed below the
problem so that students can easily see/refer to
the figure and the given problem while answering
the questions. Moreover, I suggest that you state
that the students could refer to the given figure. I
also suggest that you should mention in your

problem that the ground and the telephone post
is perpendicular with each other.
In nos. 22, 23, and 24, I suggest that you indicate
in the question that the answer should be
rounded off to a specific place value such as
tenths or hundredths so that it will be easy for
you to check the students’ answers. 2
The set of questions is acceptable but I think you
could use a different type of test such as multiple
TEST IV 3 2 3 choice test because the type of test you used is
almost similar to your Test I except there are
options in test IV.
Please indicate what unit should be used for the
answers in nos. 36-40.
