several loosely linked events, to tell about the events in the order in which they
occurred, and to provide a reaction to what happened.

3.2 With guidance and support, plan, revise, and edit building on personal ideas and the
ideas of others to strengthen writing.

Description: This app lesson will develop kindergarten language arts students’ writing
by creating their own story.

Instructional Objective: Students will be able to describe an event that occurred.

Students will be able to organize their narrative in order in which they happened in.

Step 1 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will pick an event of what kind of
story they want to write about. Students will use notes app to brainstorm ideas about
what they want their story to be about.

Step 2 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will open the Google app and paste
the URL https://tools.libove.org/generators/roll/genre-generator/ to roll a dice to pick
a genre for their story. Students will use this to use the memory/event that have to
create story based on the genre they roll. (i.e.; horror, comical, adventure)

Step 3 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will use the FarFaria Read Along
Kids Books to pick a story and read to get an idea of how the story flows and goes in
order of an event.

Step 4 Creation-Based (Learning Artifact) or Skill-Based App): Students will use the
Story Creator app to create a digital story about what they wrote about using pictures.
