I am a recent graduate of Wilmington University, where I earned my M.S. in Administration of

Human Services. My coursework which consisted of legal and ethical issues in human services,
research, design and evaluation of programs, technology and information management, financial
management, social policy and advocacy, grant writing and grant management, and fund
development and fundraising in human services, have equipped me for a leadership role in the
human service field.

I am currently employed as a Mitigation Specialist with the Office of the Public Defender. As a
Mitigation Specialist, I work with attorneys to promote rehabilitative, restorative and client-
centered outcomes in criminal cases; which includes presenting treatment alternatives to the court
in lieu of pretrial detention and incarceration. My position provides me the opportunity to work
and interact with individuals and groups from different ethnicities, races, ages, genders, religions,
socioeconomic statuses, educational backgrounds, sexual orientations and persons with
disabilities.

As a human service professional with 17 years of experience, I have the knowledge and skillset
to respond to the unique needs of a diverse population. I demonstrate attributes of

which enables me to execute my job duties efficiently.
