24 TATWAS

Assertion and negation are ancient ideas. Krishna says in the chaapter 4 that it was
known to the (symbolically) SUN, who said it to Manu...etc.

Let me try to explain. ‘Atman’ is the witness of all the 24 ‘tatwas’.

They are 1. (Ego)...2 (Intellect).., 3 (Mind, which perceives the outer universe)...

Add to these 10 sense organs of perception and action. Total now is 3 + 10 = 13. These
13 ‘metas’ when mingle with the 5 ‘matras’ (sound, touch, sight, taste and smell) then
and then only, the T1 (ego) gains 'world is' experiences by remaining in the 5 great
elements (space, air, fire, water and earth).(13 + 5 + 5 = 23).

All these 23 ‘tatwas’ are effects of the cause (4th)...the sleep state.

Now, after understanding the above, the T1 is advised to join with T2 in meditation
rejecting totally the set of remaining T11s (T3 + remaining T10s).

If the T11s are absent.., the Universe must vanish, but the T1 continues with T2. If the
T2 (cause hunter) stops cause hunting.., T1 is left with only, and bound to realizes Itself.
At this moment, in the absence of the Body, Mind and Intellect we say, the T1 realizes
the Atman, the witness of the 24 tatwas. This explanation may help in some ways to
understand that the Atman is different from the Metas , the Matras and also the
Elements.

मात्रास्पर्ाा स्तु कौन्तेय र्ीतोष्णसुखदु ःखदाः ।

आगमापियोअपनत्यास्ताां स्तस्तपतक्षस्व भारत ।। 14 ।।

14. The contacts of senses with objects, O son of Kunti, which cause heat and cold,
pleasure and pain, have a beginning and an end; they are impermanent; endure them
bravely, O descendant of Bharata.

HERE THE LORD STATES THAT THE ‘EGO’ EXPERIENCE HEAT OR COLD AS IT

27. All actions are performed, in all cases, merely by the Qualities-in-Nature (GUNAS ) .
He whose mind is deluded by egoism, thinks "I am the doer. "

**************************************************************************

THE FOOL DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THAT THE (TANMATRAS), T 11S, WHEN
MINGLE WITH THE M 5S (MATRAS - SOUND, TOUCH ETC.), ACTIONS ARE
AUTOMATICALLY DONE BY PRAKRITI (NATURE). !

THE FOOL THINKS THAT T1 IS THE DOER..! - AS SAYS THE LORD.

=======================================================

प्रकृतेगूाणसम्मू ढाः सज्जन्ते गुणकमासु ।

तानकृत्स्नपर्दो मन्दान्कृत्स्नपर्न्न पर्चालयेत ।। २९ ।।

29. Those deluded by the qualities of nature, (GUNAS) , are attached to the functions of
the qualities. The Man-of-Perfect Knowledge should not unsettle the 'foolish, ' who are
of imperfect knowledge.

**********************************************************************
THE “TATWAVIT” HOWEVER DOES NOT HAVE ANY CONFUSION. AND
THEREFORE, HE DOES NOT ARROGATE THE 'DOER-SHIP' TO T1 OR T2. HIS T1
REMAINS EVER UNATTACHED.
