DESCRIPTION
1. Steps to Creat Product on shopify –
-First open your Shopify and click on products tab at left side on tool bar then click on add
products and fill all details to sell your product on shopify platform for e.g-
A. Title-Discount Donuts Store

Our donuts are made fresh daily using only quality ingredients and classic pastry techniques.

-to transfer a large amount of product information between Shopify and another system, its a specially-
formatted spreadsheet to import or export that data. Shopify uses CSV (comma-separated value) files to perform
this kind of bulk task. using this we can add as many products we want just in one spreadsheet and later on we
can directly export it into our shopify store its time consuming and in one go we can add many products
Importing products -is useful if you switched to Shopify from another platform or if you want to make many
changes to your products or inventory.
Export your products to a CSV file to help with several tasks:
1. Creating a backup of your products.
2. Moving your existing products to a new Shopify store.
3. Editing your products in bulk using a spreadsheet.

We use collections because of the following benefits-

1. Collections allows us to organize products into structured groups ;
2. Collections are used to group the product into collections to make it easier for customers to find them by
category. Here are a few examples of collections that you might create:clothes for men, women, or children;
3. Collections have same kind of products grouped together
4. to be more specific we can also create subset of collections ;navigations are used to be user friendly

A. Under Online Store We can set following options -

1. Themes – it is set up through free themes available online on shopify – Photos are added and accordingly
captions and write ups are added to advertise store
2. Blog Post – it is created for hot selling Donuts ........by using pictures and attractive discription of the product
telling all the aspects of product i.e – Colour , taste , ingredients also advertising about the venue and date of
availability for fresh and new delivery
3. Navigation – Link list is created for navigation to login on store page and other Menus, or link lists, help
customers navigate around your online store.
4. Titles and meta discriptions are created for advertising keeping in mind customers preferences
also create nested menus to display drop-down menus, and group products or pages together.
B. Settings
This task is completed after setting up all the options provied in shopify Settings as below -
1. General Settings – By filling up all the store details i.e-store name , email, customers email; Store Address –
Legal bussiness name , Phone no. ; Legal Address;Standards and formates - Standards and formats are used to
calculate product prices, shipping weights, and order times.;Store currency - Customers use this currency to buy
your products. It can only be changed before you've made your first sale. ; then save all the settings with save
button at bottom
2. Payment Provider – enable payment provider to accept all kinds of paymnet method else we can choose as per
out requirements – i have done this by choosing Manual paymnets option hence activated custom payments using
COD – Cash on delivery
3. Checkout – Customized the style of your checkout by fixing fonts and colours of your store ; Customer
account- by keeping accounts optional Customers will be able to check out with a customer account or as a guest;
Customer contacts – Customers can check out with their email or by providing phone no. ; Forms options are
kept optional for customers ease ; Order Processing – using shipping address as billing address to Reduces the
number of fields required to check out. The billing address can still be edited, After an order has been fulfilled
and paid-Fulfilled orders will be automatically removed from the open orders list.
4. Shipping facility is provided on the given address and it is customized for ease will be notified after
completion and between intermediate steps ; shipping rates can be calculated thrpugh weight, quanty and
pakages expanse of every order ; slip tamplets will be provided
5. Taxes as per Shopify policy

By visiting online store named akanksha sharma store product was selected and Order is placed via online
account creation i.e email address login ,

After recieving order request an id is generated on the name of account customer tracking details are send on the
mail and with Shipping facility named Fedex oder fullfillment is done ; in store all orders section order
fullfilment is marked with package tracking id and payment is collected through COD – Cash on delivery
Applied on cash on delivery option , captured paymnets manually – this setting is done at payments
provider
