Terms & Conditions : -

1 The offer should be properly sealed with wax / tapes along all joints in an envelope mentioning on the
envelope “Tender Enquiry No. & Date & Due Date of opening” along with the tenderer’s address on the left
hand side bottom of the envelope. Tenders received in envelope not properly sealed along all joints will be
rejected straightway.
2 Offers should be deposited either personally in the tender box kept near the reception or may be sent by
registered post / courier service on the following address : -

 The offer must reach by the due date positively upto 1:30 pm which will be opened immediately thereafter (if
minimum three offers are received) in the presence of tenderers or their authorised representatives who wish
to be present at the time of opening.

3 Tenders will be opened at 2:30 pm on due date in Purchase Deptt. in Room No 143 by the Tender Opening
Committee in the presence of tenderers or their authorised representatives who wish to be present at the
time of tender opening.

4 The Prices quoted should be :–

4.1 Rate per unit alongwith delivery terms
4.2 Firm and FOR destination basis by road / rail transport and in the unit enquired for.
4.3 If offered prices are same, then quantity will be distributed equally
4.4 Valid even if the full quantity of stores required for is not ordered in one lot
4.5 While quoting prices, govt. levies. i.e. GST (IGST, CGST, SGST) etc. should be mentioned clearly .
The amount of input credit available should be clearly mentioned along with HSN code and GST
Regd. No.
4.6 Development charges, if any, will be borne by the tenderer.
5 The prices offer must be valid for minimum one year
6 We normally expect 60 days credit from our vendors. In case our payment terms does not suit, you may
give your payment terms which will be settled with mutual consent.

7 The delivery of the material offered must be guaranteed and in case of default, we reserve the right to levy
liquidated damages as per our standard terms and / or cancel the order or procure the material from the open
market at the risk and cost of the defaulting vendor

8 The supplies of components shall be covered under warranty from one year of date of sale of machine or 18
months from the date of acceptance of supply

9 Tenderers are requested to submit their offer for those components which are in their manufacturing range
and are able to supply, otherwise in case of non supply of the components in question after finalisation /
release of order to lowest tenderer, we may be forced to impose clause of blacklisting / liquidated damages
on the tenderer

10 In case of any clarification required by the tenderer before quoting, he can contract Dy. General Manager

11 HMT reserve the right to accept or reject any offer in part or the whole without assigning any reason thereto.

12 HMT will prefer to release payment thru "E-Payment system instead of Cheque after receipt of material.
Interested supplier may furnish banker's name, address and account no. in the offer" Banker Details have to
be certified by bank.
