Mid--Year Academic Reflection

Seniors
You have finished your senior fall semester and are only a few months away from graduation!
Having had nearly four years of high school, take some time to reflect on your experience.

Thinking about your efforts and experiences in core classes since you were a freshman, what are
some of the ways you’ve evolved as a student? What has been your biggest challenge(s) in your
core classes? What are some of the most rewarding experiences you’ve had academically?
Consider examples that you may remember long after high school.

The way that I have evolved as a student throughout my 4 years of high school is by managing to
pass every class and mature as a person, I also was able to push myself to do better and as I grew
older and started to realize that I was going to be a senior soon I started to take school more
serious and started to actually try and get my work in on time and study for tests. I was also able
to get my 7th period off my senior year for being caught up on credits. One of my biggest
challenges I’ve experienced was Algebra 2, algebra 2 has been the toughest class I have taken all
my 4 years of high school. Some of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had last semester was
being able to get only A’s and B’s in all my classes and keeping them that way. I am also in track
for graduating and in track on my credits so I was able to get my 7th period off.

Looking ahead, what do you need to do during your last semester to accomplish your goals?

What I need to do during my last semester to accomplish my goals is make sure I keep my GPA
as a 3.0 or higher and nothing less. I want to make my parents proud by having them see me
cross the stage, after all I am the oldest in my family so I will be the first in my family graduating
high school and crossing stage.
