Exam Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to register for and take the APICS CSCP exam, you must meet one of the following
criteria:
• CPIM, CFPIM, CIRM, CPSM, or C.P.M. designation plus two years of related business
experience, or
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus two years of related business experience, or
• Five years of related business experience.
You must submit an application to document eligibility to take the APICS CSCP exam. APICS will
review all applications and will notify applicants whether their application is approved or denied.
Candidates whose applications are approved will receive notice of approval. Candidates whose
applications are not approved will receive notice that they are not eligible to test and information on
why their applications were denied.
CSCP Designation
You must pass the APICS CSCP exam to earn the APICS CSCP designation. The CSCP designation may
be used just as similar recognitions are employed in accounting, insurance, medicine, law, and other
professions. Either the full expression or the initials may be used after the individual’s name on
business cards, stationery, etc.

Exam Information
Test Format and Number of Questions on the Exam

The APICS CSCP exam consists of 175 multiple-choice questions (150 operational and 25 pre-test).
The pre-test questions do not contribute to your total score but are necessary for research purposes.
These pre-test questions are randomly distributed among the scorable items and will be used for
statistical purposes only. The pre-test items are similar to the scorable items on the test, and you will
not know which items will be scored and which will not. You should answer all exam questions.
Please be informed that there is no penalty for choosing a wrong answer (i.e., there are no negative
marks).
Length of the Exam

You will be given four hours to complete the exam.
Exam Development
Exam content is developed according to the test outline included in the APICS CSCP Exam Content
Manual 2014 and is industry-validated by global subject matter experts. Exam questions are
monitored through a rigorous psychometric calibration and cross-referenced to industry-approved
source material.
APICS CSCP Score Range

The APICS CSCP score range is from 200 to 350. A score of 300 or higher is required to pass the
exam.

Exam Scoring
APICS uses a scale to report the scores. A scale is an arbitrarily established set of numbers used for
measurement according to a rate or standard. As a score-reporting technique, a scale provides a
standard range for test takers and permits direct comparisons of results from one administration of
the examination to another. (An administration is the combination of the specific test and date it
was taken.) Scores on different tests that use the same scale may also be compared. Such
comparisons would be difficult to make using raw scores (number of correct answers), because the
tests may have different numbers of questions and the number of correct answers required to pass
may be different.
First, a single scale is used to provide candidates with a convenient, single referent for all the
modules in the program. The minimum passing score on a CSCP examination is 300 on the scale of
200 to 350 for each test. The minimum raw score, the value associated with correct responses,
required to pass the APICS “X” test is not necessarily the same as the minimum raw score required
for the APICS “Y” test, because some tests are more difficult than others. However, passing on each
of these two tests is reported as the same number. It is very important to note that the content and
the difficulty of each of these modules are independent of each other. For example, while the most
difficult question on the APICS “X” test may require several levels of thought and multiple
calculations, the most difficult question on the APICS “Y” test may only require a simple calculation.
Second, it is important to report scores in such a way that candidates can compare their level of
success from one administration of the examination to another. Candidates want to know how they
performed the second time relative to the first. If they fail the first time, they want to know by how
much. A reporting scale that remains constant across test forms enables candidates to make these
comparisons. Remember, some administrations, due to the random nature of test question
selection, are slightly more or less difficult than other administrations. The scale adjusts for the
difference in difficulty to provide the same standard score for the same level of performance.

Exam delivery
Exams are administered via computer-based testing (CBT) through the Prometric
(http://www.prometric.com) network of test centres. Prometric is a trusted test development and
delivery provider to more than 400 organizations with over 4,500 testing centres worldwide. On
behalf of these organizations, Prometric securely delivers an average of 10 million exams per year to
people who are seeking to improve their lives. Whether starting a new career, further developing
their skills to improve an existing one, adding to their qualifications for a promotion, taking school
entrance exams or simply for professional development, people taking tests want a reliable,
convenient and hassle-free experience. Prometric serves as an industry gatekeeper, ensuring that
people legitimately earn the credentials they seek to achieve, and thereby guaranteeing a fair
testing experience for all who come through its doors.
Exam windows
Exams will be delivered in four windows per year. A window is the period of time during which the
exams will be available through Prometric. The planned windows for 2014 are:

Sourcing Reference Materials for Study

There are several different ways you can source reference materials for study. First check the
availability in your company’s library or in your college or university library.

The number of hours of study required to prepare for an exam depends on many factors,

To calculate fee to be remitted to KnoWerX:

1. Take a 5% discount on the above rack rate. For example, for CSCP exam to be taken by an
employee who is not a member and his/her fee is paid by his/her employer, the amount
after 5% discount will be US$ 1,387.646.
2. Go to http://www.rbi.org.in. Check the exchange rate for the day KnoWerX will receive the
remittance in their bank account. Usually this rate is updated after 1:30 pm from Monday to
Friday on working days. Add 50 paise to this exchange rate. For example, on 31-Dec-2013
the exchange rate was 61.8970. So, the fee in Rupees from previous step will be `86,584.95.
3. Round-off the fee to nearest `10. Therefore, the final fee from the previous step will be
`86,580. This is the amount to be remitted to KnoWerX and must be received by KnoWerX
on the same day.
Please request an Ms-Excel sheet from KnoWerX that has all the calculations built-in. This Excel
sheet is updated and available after 1:30 p.m. on RBI (Reserve Bank of India) working days.
All AST&L and APICS members enjoy a discounted fee under the column ‘Member’. Others pay ‘Non-
Member’ fee. You must be a member on the date of receipt of fees by KnoWerX in their bank
account.
Corporate fee is applicable if the fee is paid by an organization, e.g., a company. If corporate fee is
paid, the receipt and invoice is generated in the organization’s name. The service tax that is applied
can be used as input credit and eventually, it does not cost the organization. However, if individual
fee is paid, the receipt and invoice is generated in the individual’s names and therefore input service
tax credit may not be availed.
Exam fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
If an excess fee is received by KnoWerX, please note that due to cost of administrative overheads,
the excess fees paid will be refunded only if the excess amount is above `200.
Volume Discount
5% volume discount is offered if 25 or more exam fees are received in a single remittance to
KnoWerX.
Test Centres and Seat Availability

There are approx. 147 Prometric test centres in approx. 48 cities in India (You may also use exam
credit purchased from KnoWerX in any other country outside North America). This list is dynamic. To

click on Next. Select APICS and click on Next. Click on Next again. Select an exam and click on Next.
You will see list of all test centres.

Purchasing Exam Credit and Scheduling an Exam

Step 1: Selecting Personal Identifications and Obtaining an APICS ID
You will have to carry two identifications at Prometric test centre. The primary identification must
have your recent photograph and signature. The acceptable identifications are:
• A valid passport
• A valid driving license
• A valid PAN card
• Any other valid identification issued by Government with recent photograph and signature
Secondary identification must have your signature. The acceptable identifications are:
• A valid credit card
• A valid debit card
• A valid APICS membership card
• Another identification from the list of primary identifications
Before you purchase an exam credit, select what you will carry as primary identification and what
you will carry as secondary identification. Make sure your first name and last name match on both
identifications.
Please note that first name is the name that appears first and last name is the name appears last. First
name need not be your given name and last name need not be your family name. For example, if you want
your name to appear as ‘Sharma Nistush Kumar’, your first name is ‘Sharma’ and your last name is
‘Kumar’, though ‘Sharma’ is your family name, ‘Nistush’ is your given name and ‘Kumar’ is your middle
name.
Also, before you purchase an exam credit, you must also have an APICS ID and your first name and
last name in APICS database must exactly match both the identifications selected above. To check
APICS ID, first name and last name in APICS database, do the following:
• If you have an APICS ID, know your username, your password, and are able to login on

o Send an email to service@apics.org giving your full name, APICS ID (if you know) and
date of birth. Request them to send your username and password.
o Once you receive your username and password from APICS, login on
http://www.apics.org,
• If you have but do not remember your APICS ID or if you do not know if you have an APICS ID
or if you might have visited APICS website before or if you might have written an email to
APICS before or if you might have communicated with APICS directly or indirectly before,
there are chances that you may have your profile in APICS database. In this, do the
following:
o Send an email to service@apics.org giving your full name, date of birth, your
company name, your address and all of your email ids that you have. Request them
to send your username and password.
o Once you receive your username and password from APICS, login on
http://www.apics.org,
• If you do not have an APICS ID and if you never went on the APICS website and if you never
wrote an email to APICS and if you never communicated with APICS directly or indirectly:
o Warning: Please take this step only if you are sure that your record is not there in
APICS database. If you create duplicate APICS IDs, it may cause a lot of confusion and
inconvenience for you. The use of a single APICS ID enables APICS to accurately
merge your testing and membership information into your APICS records.
o First, send an email to service@apics.org giving your full name, date of birth, your
company name, your address and all of your email ids that you have. Request them
to send your username and password in case your record is there in APICS database.
o After you receive confirmation from APICS that your record is not there in APICS
database, go to http://www.apics.org,
o Click on REGISTER,
o Enter your first name and last name exactly in the same way as your primary
identification and secondary identification, fill-in other details and create your
profile,
o Note down your APICS ID,
o Login on http://www.apics.org to check if your username and password works,
o Confirm your details. Change if required.
Special test accommodations

If special test arrangements are needed, you should follow the instructions posted in the “Special
Accommodation” section of prometric.com/apics before purchasing the exam credit. These
arrangements, if approved, will be provided at no additional cost. You will be contacted by APICS or
KnoWerX to purchase the exam credit and to complete the Authorization to Test process.
Step 2: Applying for Eligibility
APICS CSCP Eligibility Applications

APICS will review all applications and notify you of your status within two weeks of receipt. There is
no processing fee associated with the applications.
Application Procedures
1. You must be logged in to http://www.apics.org to complete the APICS CSCP Eligibility
Application.
2. Once you are logged in, complete the eligibility application online.
• Go to apics.org/eligibility. If you get a login prompt, login first and then copy and paste the
above link in your web browser.
• Fill up the “CSCP Eligibility Application” form. Many fields will be filled automatically. If you
do not know your APICS ID, note down the APICS ID that appears as the first information in
“My Profile” box. In order to ensure that your APICS CSCP eligibility application is processed,
complete all requested information and submit your application prior to the eligibility
application deadline mentioned above. There is no documentation required to be submitted
with the form. However, APICS reserves the right to randomly audit candidates’
qualifications and experience prior to approval.
• On successful submission of the application form, you will receive an auto generated e-mail.
3. APICS will review your application and notify you via e-mail of your eligibility status within two
weeks of receipt of application. If you do not get any e-mail from APICS even after 2 weeks,
please contact KnoWerX.
Step 3: Purchasing an Exam Credit

An exam credit is used in order to request an Authorization to Test (ATT) from APICS, and is valid for
one year from the date of issuance. The exam credits are non-transferable and non-refundable. No
extension of the validity is possible under any circumstances. If exam credit expires without being
used to request an ATT, you will forfeit the exam fee.
Please follow the steps below to purchase an exam credit:

• If you plan to make payment though NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer), at least one
day before you want to make the payment, add KnoWerX as the beneficiary in your online
bank account to be able to do fund transfer through NEFT.
• On the day you would like to make payment through NEFT, after RBI has published the day’s
exchange rate (around 1:30 p.m.), request KnoWerX to email you MS-Excel APICS Fees
Calculation sheet and MS-Excel APICS CBT Purchase Form.
• Make the remittance in to KnoWerX bank account as per MS-Excel APICS Fees Calculation
sheet and note down the reference number.
• Fill in the MS-Excel APICS CBT Purchase Form and send it as an email to one of the e-mails

• Once we receive the payment, your APICS ID will be credited with the purchased exam credit
within one working day under normal circumstances. You will receive a confirmation email

Step 4: Requesting an Authorization to Test (ATT)

After you receive APICS CBT credit purchase confirmation email from KnoWerX, you must request an
Authorization to Test (ATT) within one year from the date of issuance of the exam credit. The ATT is
non-transferable and non-refundable.
You will be required to log in to the APICS website and complete the Authorization to Test Request
Form. An ATT is required in order to schedule the exam with Prometric, and is valid for one exam
window. After request is successful, you will receive an ATT confirmation email from APICS with
scheduling instructions and other exam-related information.
If the ATT expires without being used to schedule an exam, you will forfeit the exam fee.
Completing the Authorization to Test Request Form

• You can access the ATT Request Form at apics.org/att.
• You will be required to verify name and contact information. The first and last names on this
form must match the first and last names on primary and secondary identifications that will
be used to access the test centre.
• You will be prompted to select the exam module and the country in which you plan to test.
• A link to a list of test centre locations will be provided. You will be required to confirm that
at least one of those test centres is viable. At the time you schedule your exam with
Prometric, you must choose one of the sites in the selected country.
• You will be required to agree to abide by the APICS Code of Ethics and confirm you have
read and understood the exam policies and procedures before you can receive an ATT.
• If you have purchased the exam credit, you will not be asked to make any payment. If you
are asked to make a payment, cancel the process and contact KnoWerX.
• After submitting the request, you will receive a confirmation email containing a summary of
the information submitted in the request form.
• You will receive the ATT email immediately unless manual intervention is required to correct
a record. If you do not receive your ATT email within one business day, please contact APICS
at exams@apics.org.
• It is your responsibility to review the information within the ATT email to ensure you have
been issued an ATT for the correct test. If there are any errors or if no ATT is received, you
must contact APICS directly at exams@apics.org.
Name Changes
If a name change is required after the ATT is received, you must contact APICS at exams@apics.org
at least two business days prior to your scheduled exam. You must submit a copy of the
identifications you are planning to use to support this change.
Cancellation of the Authorization to Test

If the ATT has not yet been used to schedule an exam and it has not yet expired, you can request a

logged in, you will have the option to edit your current ATT. If you choose a new window that occurs
within one year of the original date the ATT was issued, no additional fees will be assessed. If you
wish to change your exam window to a testing window that starts after your authorization
expiration date (one year from the date of issuance), the full exam fee applies. No refunds will be
issued.
Step 5: Scheduling the Exam

• Once you receive the ATT email from APICS, you are encouraged to access the Prometric
website at prometric.com/apics as soon as possible to ensure the best selection of location
and test time and follow the online scheduling process. You can also call Prometric Regional
Service Centre in Gurgaon, India on (0124)451-7160.
• Online scheduling does not allow appointments to be scheduled more than 60 days in
advance. Prometric Regional Service Centres are able to schedule appointments from 61 to
90 days in advance.
• If you do not already have a Prometric web account, you will be required to create one.
• You will be able to select only an exam date that falls within the ATT validity period.
• You must choose a test site within the country you selected in the Authorization to Test
Request Form.
• Prometric manages over 4,500 international test sites which may include sites that are
temporarily unavailable due to various stages of building renovation, software or hardware
updates, or have limited hours of operation. When selecting a test site, you will be
presented with a list of locations in your area, some of which may not have test time
availability. Please review all test site options displayed to ensure the best possible location
and time accommodation for your exam.
• Upon scheduling the exam(s), you will receive a confirmation notice from Prometric via
email. It is your responsibility to review the information within the confirmation notice to
ensure you are registered for the correct test, at the correct site and on the correct date. If
there are any errors or if no confirmation notice is received, you must contact Prometric
directly at apics@prometric.com.
Rescheduling an Exam
If you need to reschedule your exam date within your chosen window, you must reschedule the
exam online on Prometric website or contact Prometric on apics@prometric.com no later than 24
hours prior to the scheduled exam and pay a US$30 rescheduling fee. The rescheduling fee of US$30
can be paid only through a credit card online. If you would like to pay this fee by a cheque/draft,
contact the test centre, if they accept. Reschedule requests received less than 24 hours before the
scheduled exam will not be accepted, and if you do not take the test, you will forfeit the exam fees.
If you need to reschedule your exam date to a different window, you should follow the cancellation
policy below.
Cancelling an Exam
If you no longer can take the test within your originally selected window, you must cancel the exam
online on Prometric website or contact Prometric on apics@prometric.com no later than 24 hours
prior to the scheduled exam and pay a US$30 cancellation fee. You will receive an email notification
from Prometric with instructions on how to proceed. The cancellation fee of US$30 can be paid only
through a credit card online. If you would like to pay this fee by a cheque/draft, contact the test
centre, if they accept. Cancellation requests received less than 24 hours before the scheduled exam
will not be accepted, and if you do not take the test, you will forfeit the exam fees.
Once the cancellation has been processed, you will be required to complete the Authorization to
Test Request Form again to request a new ATT for the same exam module. If you choose a new
window that starts within one year of the original date the ATT was issued, no additional fees will be
assessed. If you select a new window that starts after one year from the original ATT issue date, you
must pay a new exam fee. No refunds will be issued.
On the Day of the Exam

APICS Code of Ethics
Before taking an exam, you must agree to:
• Maintain exemplary standards of professional conduct;
• Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or education to APICS or others you serve
in a professional capacity;
• Respect and not violate the United States Copyright of all APICS materials, including but not
limited to courseware, magazine articles and other APICS publications, APICS conference
presentations, and CPIM and CSCP examination resources. In this same spirit, you must not
violate the copyright of other organizations and individuals in your professional capacity;
• Not engage in or sanction any exploitation of one’s membership, company, or profession;
• Encourage and cooperate in the interchange of knowledge and techniques for the mutual
benefit of the profession;
• In your professional capacity, respect the fundamental rights and dignity of all individuals.
You must demonstrate sensitivity to cultural, individual, and role differences, including those
due to age, gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability,
language, and socio-economic status;
• In your professional capacity, not engage in behaviour that is harassing or demeaning to
others based on factors including, but not limited to, age, gender, race, ethnicity, national
origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, language, or socio-economic status;
• Adhere to this Code of Conduct and its application to your professional work. Lack of
awareness or misunderstanding of an ethical standard is not itself a defence to a charge of
unethical conduct;
• Contact the Ethics Committee when uncertain whether a particular situation or course of
action violates the Code of Conduct; and
• Not to become the subject of public disrepute, contempt, or scandal that affects your image
or goodwill.
Failure to abide by the APICS Code of Ethics policy may result in sanctions up to and including
decertification.
Reporting to the Test Centre

You must check in at the test centre no later than 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment
but not more than 2 hours before your scheduled appointment. If you arrive past this time, you may
be refused admission to the test centre and may lose your exam appointment. Furthermore, you
may be considered a no-show and may forfeit the full exam fee.
It takes about 3 - 5 minutes per candidate to complete the sign-in process. If you are the 10th person
to arrive, it will take about 30 minutes to start signing you in. If there are questions about your
identifications, your registration, any of the pre-test qualifications, or if you are late, you will be
asked to wait until other candidates are signed in. So, it is best to arrive at least 30 minutes before
your scheduled appointment.
What to Bring
You must bring a valid primary identification that includes a recent photograph and signature:
• A valid passport
• A valid driving license
• A valid PAN card
• Any other valid identification issued by Government with recent photograph and signature
You also must bring a valid secondary identification that includes your signature:
• A valid credit card
• A valid debit card
• A valid APICS membership card
• Another identification from the list of primary identifications
The test centre staff verifies only the first and last name on the identifications provided to ensure
they match the first and last name on the exam registration. No temporarily issued identification is
accepted. If you do not bring these items on exam day or your name on the registration does not
match your IDs, you will be denied admission to the examination. You will be considered a no-show
and will forfeit the full exam fee. If you do not have a primary identification that meets the above
requirements due to local standards, you should contact exams@apics.org for assistance.
An online computer calculator is available during each computer-based exam, but bringing a simple
nonprogrammable calculator into the exam room is also permitted.
English-native language translation books are the only written materials you may bring into the
exam room. These books should contain only the literal translation of English words, and should not
include a description of the meaning of the word. The test centre manager will inspect these books
before you are admitted to the testing room.
What Not to Bring

• APICS Dictionary in any language
• Pens, pencils, notes, books or papers of any kind. Supplies needed for taking the exam will
be provided by the test centre.
• Protractors, compasses, rulers, stencils, digital assistants or other aids
• Electronic devices of any kind, including mobile phones, pagers and electronic dictionaries
• Food, drinks or tobacco
• Visitors
There are small lockers (12" H x 12" W x 12-18" D) available for you to store mobile phones, pagers,
keys and small purses during the exam. There is no secure storage available for large books, bags, or
large coats. Please do not bring large purses, or backpacks to the test centre. Prometric cannot
accept responsibility for loss or theft of items left in common use areas such as the waiting rooms.
Emergencies
Only the following documented excuses are acceptable reasons for missing your scheduled exam:
• A serious illness (either yourself or an immediate family member)
• A death in the immediate family (spouse, children, siblings, parents or grandparents only)
• A disabling traffic accident
If you miss an exam for one of the reasons listed above, send a written explanation to KnoWerX
within 10 calendar days following your exam date with a processing fee of `6,240. One of the
following should accompany your written explanation:
• Complete admission and discharge documentation from a large and recognised hospital
including internal case papers, medical records, diagnosis, treatment, hospital bills, medical
bills, pathology testing reports, receipts of all payments made, a certificate from attending
doctor with his/her title, address, telephone number, and registration giving the reason for
your absence and completion of treatment, certificate of absence from work/study from
company/organization/institute/college/school on official letterhead signed by HR
head/Director
• In case of domiciliary treatment, a certificate from attending doctor with his/her title,
address, telephone number, and registration giving the reason why an admission in a
hospital was not deemed necessary, dates of your first and follow-up visits to your treating
doctor, medical records kept by the doctor, receipts of payments made to doctor,
prescriptions, details of medicines given by doctor, bills of medicines purchased, reports of
pathology testing reports, written reason from doctor if pathology tests not done, receipts
of payments made to pathology lab, medical certificate from treating doctor giving the
reason for your absence and completion of treatment, certificate of absence from
work/study from company/organization/institute/college/school on official letterhead
signed by HR head/Director
• A simple certificate from a physician with prescription and medical bills will not be
acceptable. Diseases like cough, cold, mild fever, stomach upset, etc. will not be acceptable
as excuses for absence. Please note that the request will be denied if solid and fool-proof
evidence is not produced to KnoWerX. The decision of KnoWerX will be final.
• The appropriate death certificate, certificate of absence from work/study from
head/Director
• An FIR of an accident lodged with local police, certificate of absence from work/study from
head/Director
If your emergency request is approved, you will receive a new ATT.
Test Security
Testing is monitored through the use of one or more of the following: a viewing window, a video
monitor or a sound-monitoring device in the room. Testing sessions may be photographed or
videotaped to ensure the integrity of the APICS certification process.
Breaks
No breaks are scheduled during the exam. If you must leave the room during the exam, you must
notify the test centre manager. Timing will not stop during a break.
Misconduct
The test centre manager is authorized to dismiss you from a test session for the following reasons:
• Creating a disturbance
• Giving or receiving help
• Using notes, books, wristwatch calculators, digital assistants, electronic dictionaries or other
aids
• Using electronic devices, including mobile phones
• Attempting to remove scratch paper from the testing room
• Attempting to tamper with the computer
• Attempting to remove test questions (in any format) from the testing room
• Failing to follow the test centre manager’s directions
• Sharing exam content
In addition, because the entire question data bank, the exam form and all exam materials are
copyrighted and are the legal property of APICS, legal action will be taken against anyone who
violates the copyright laws by distributing examination content or materials through any form of
reproduction. Oral, written or electronic communication during the exam is strictly prohibited and
punishable by law.
If you engage in any of these forms of misconduct, at a minimum your exam will not be scored, your
fees will not be refunded and you will be prevented from retaking the exam for six months.
Furthermore, acts of misconduct will be brought to the attention of the APICS Certification
Committee and the APICS Ethics Committee, which may result in
• Cancellation of your prior or current exam scores
• Revocation of your certification
• Discontinuation of your membership.
No-show Policy
No-show candidates forfeit the exam fees. You are considered a no-show on the day of you
scheduled exam if you
• Fail to reschedule or cancel your exam appointment within the appropriate time frame
• Choose not to keep your exam appointment
• Do not have an acceptable reason for your absence
• Arrive late for you exam
• Do not bring two forms of acceptable identification to the exam.
• Have a name on your identifications that does not match the name you registered with
and/or the name APICS has on file, and you are not allowed in the testing room
Score Report
At the end of the exam, you will receive a printed score report that includes your name, exam title,
score, and pass or fail information. If no score report is received prior to leaving the testing centre,
you should contact Prometric directly on apics@prometric.com.
Test Centre Closures

If the test centre closes, Prometric will contact you to reschedule the exam at no additional charge.
You can also access prometric.com/sitestatus to view test centre closures at any time.
After Exam Day
APICS CSCP Certificates
If you earned the CSCP designation, you will receive a printed certificate within four weeks of
passing the exam.
If a duplicate certificate is ordered, a charge of $50 will be assessed.
If you request a name change or if you change your address after the first printed certificate has
been issued, you must order a duplicate certificate and pay the applicable fees before a new printed
certificate will be issued.
Rescore Policy
You have 90 days from the day the exam is taken to challenge the result. To request a rescore, you
must contact the APICS Certification Department at certification@apics.org. The rescore fee is
US$45 per exam. Note that the rescoring process only checks to see if the scoring system functioned
properly.
Retaking the Exams

If you fail an APICS CSCP exam, you must wait for 14 days before retaking the same exam. There are
no exceptions to this policy.
Your Feedback
Shortly after the exam date, you will be sent a survey to obtain feedback on your overall testing
experience. This survey can also be accessed at any time through a link on the “My APICS
Certifications” page.
Post Certification
Formal Recognition Letter to Your Employer
APICS can send a formal letter of recognition to your employer or an individual via surface mail (hard
copy) or via an e-mail. To request a recognition letter, fill out APICS CPIM/CSCP Recognition Letter
Request Form by clicking on http://www.apics.org/docs/cert-faq-
pdf/apics_cpim_cscp_recognition_letter_request.pdf?Status=Master, printing it and sending to
APICS via post or fax as instructed in the form. APICS will take six to eight weeks to send the letter to
your employer and/or individual mentioned in the request form.
Certification Maintenance
To promote professional growth and lifelong learning, APICS CSCP designees must complete the
Certification Maintenance program every five years. Complete details on how to maintain the APICS
