Standard Three: Learning Environments - The teacher works with others to create
environments that support individual and collaborative learning and that encourage
positive social interaction, active engagement in learning, and self-motivation.

I am placing my Welcome Letter under Standard Three, Learning Environments, as

evidence of my emergent mastery. This artifact belongs under the mentioned standard
because it shows my understanding of the importance of a functional classroom that
encourages positive learning. In the ‘recommendations’ section I show how the given
classroom could be improved so then the students engage more and have better
interactions with their peers and the classroom itself. Having a good environment is a
crucial piece to running a classroom.
