Conversation class lesson plan framework

1- WARM UP ~5 minutes
Set the scene, making questions to sts that will raise awareness about the subject
proposed to be discussed. A warm up activity is supposed to make sts feel curious and
intrigued.
2- LEXICAL EXPANSION ~10 minutes
Provide sts with words and chunks they may need further in the conversation activities
in an interactive way. Making a quiz or a quick game to match meaning and lexis is a
good way to make them start talking and keep TTT as short as possible.
