Activity # What you did: What you learned:
1. 12 Watched a couple “The Refiner’s Fire” really touched my
Videos on Mormon heart and my soul. I could have not
Channel imagined how the featured sister handled
her life about going through such
challenges. I admire her strong
testimony about the gospel. The Lord,
truly, gives you challenges because
others, who are going through the same
thing, need to learn from you. Another
one is, “The Piano’s Purpose”. It made
me cry after watching it. I have learned
that everything has its own purpose even
after a hurtful experience in this life.
2. 14 Watched a movie It is such a great movie for a newly-wed
entitled Fireproof couple or even those whose marriages
are struggling. I have learned to prepare
myself for possible challenges that I
might encounter when I get married. I
really like the end of the movie wherein
they made God as center of their
relationship- and that’s when they were
able to realize the worth of their
marriage and their relationship. “ The
Love Dare” in the movie also taught me
to appreciate my future spouse.
3. Click here to enter text. Got so busy that I forgot to do it on
Wednesday
4. 13 Listened to some of my I have listened to some of my favorite
Favorite Songs Christian Songs sung by a Boy Band
named “ The Anthem Lights” . I Love
their renditions of different music
especially their Christmas playlist. Their
songs reminded me of the Love of the
Savior and His birth. I really felt the
spirit.
5. 15 Shared the things that I II had the chance to have a one-on-one
have learned with my talk with a friend of mine. We both
Friend. served our missions with honor and were
able to come home on the same month.
So, we talked about the struggles that we
have and how we are coping with our
post-mission life. One thing that we
learned during our conversation was the
attitude of not giving up. We were both
crying because, trials are keep on hitting
us and our family members. Good thing,
I have her and that she served her
mission in New Zealand, so I was able to
talk with her in English.
