Meet Miss Rusnica

Hello! My name is Rylie Rusnica. I will be working in your child's classroom as their
student teacher over the next few weeks. I will be in Mrs. Huber’s classroom from
March 11th to May 3rd. I am working towards my degree in early childhood and
special education through Saint Francis University, and will be graduating in May. I
am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When I'm not in the classroom, I am cheering for
the SFU cheerleading team. I love being with my family, going hikes, reading books,
camping and playing guitar.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn and grow as a teacher by working
with your child these next three months. I am thrilled to get to know each student,
and hopefully have the pleasure of meeting you as well during my time here.

Attached to this letter is a permission slip, that I hope you will consider signing. To
obtain my Pennsylvania teaching license, I must demonstrate my ability to plan and
teach lessons, as well as engage students in the material. This permission slip will
allow me to use video and picture footage of your child in the classroom during my
teaching, to show that I am ready to teach a class of my own after graduation.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter, and I can't
wait to see what the next few months have in store for us!

Feel free to contact me any time at: rcr103@francis.edu
