ABSTRACT

Human Rights are basic, inherent human rights that are natural, universal
and eternal as gifts given by God Almighty. Rights such as the right to
life, family rights, the right to self-development, the right to justice, the
right to freedom, family rights, security rights, and welfare rights are
rights that should not be ignored or seized by anyone. The Concept of
Human Rights as an inherent right in human beings as rights that must be
respected and protected, at first it starts at the birth of magna charta, then
the birth of The American Declaratin of Independence, followed by the
French declaration and The four freedoms. The establishment of the
National Human Rights Commission, evidenced by the many reports of
violations of human rights so far. This shows the great attention of the
Indonesian people towards the enforcement of human rights and the
importance of legal protection for human rights defenders in Indonesia.
