Iconography (props): the props
that I will be using in the film
Fictional Film Production:
Narrative/Performance/Concept: The story is
that a group of young adults hear about going
to a abounded house and they want to explore
the abounded house but when going to the
house and exploring it, the group are going
there to film a YouTube video and they know if
they explore this haunted house its going get
millions of views on their YouTube channel. Also
the group are going to this haunted house and
they something terrible happens to one of the
member of the group and this will affect the
group for the rest of their lives.
Characters:
In our short film there are 5 main characters
in the film, he have a character called Lewis
Clerkin who is the leader of the group and
tells the group it would be fun to go into the
house and explore it Lewis has a close
connection with sky. Also there is character
called sky who is the only one in the group
to think it is a bad idea to go into the
abounded
House and start explore it but Lewis tells
him that nothing is going to happen and
Lewis convincing sky to go into the house.
Also there is a girl called Layla that is all up
for going into the abounded house, she is a
bubble person that likes to make a bad
situation good. Also we have a character
called Casey that is also excited to go into
the abounded house and has strong
relationship with the whole group. Finally
the last person is the antongist that warns
the group before into the abounded house,
and when finds them in the haunted house
are a phone to show that they
characters are vlooging in the
abounded house. Also I will be
using a knife to show that it is a
normal horror film because a
knife is associated with a horror
and the audience should
identify this,.
Genre:
The genre we are doing is a
conventional horror film that
takes place at abandon place
where characters accidental
stubble across a
person/monster of some form
that is threatening and frightens
the young teenagers.
Typography for title:
The font that I will use for my
short film will help the audience
understand that it is a horror
film. We will use the standard
subtitles because we don’t want
are views not seeing the text.
Lighting (colours):
My film will have low key lighting to
show that is it a conventional horror, I
will use red and black colours to show
that it is a horror. If we use low key
lighting people will intensely know it is a
horror film by the way that the room is
set.
Location (setting):
The location that we are going to film in by a school
because they audience can understand how old
they are because they are still in school and this is
first location where the group meet up about going
to this house to film for their YouTube channel.
Second location is the actually house itself where
the group are going into the house to film the for
their YouTube channel, the other location are going
to be in the hose like the kitchen, dining room and
bedrooms. Also the last location is going to be the
car that group are going to travel to the place and
back from the place.
