Evaluation
In the brief:

 Create a visual product that is up to professional standard

 No reference to drugs, and no nudity.
 All practical work must be my own
 Wanted to work in a group to help out with my weaknesses
 We created an Action/Drama production

How well do I think I’ve done?

 I think I did well

o Specialism
o Camera work. Good, managed to use some interesting shot and was able to visually
illustrate information.
o Some fights a little too short and some of camera moves are too shaky.
o Sound design was quite good. Foley was good. Some of the audio quality with
dialogue was a little off with quality fluctuating
o Lighting a lot better. Some scenes too dark and lighting very out of place
 How well did I follow the competition
o Raindance Rules
o Screenshots
o 18+ automatic rating due to Raindance being and 18s and over event
o This means that our production has no real cap on the amount of violence, or gore
that we wanted to include. If we follow the BBFC’s official rating of 18…
 How well does the film follow conventions
o We had 3 main fight scenes. Mixed in a complex character who is damaged and put
him at odds with his past and forced his state to change and for his character to
develop from a depressed drunk, back to a brave soldier who is willing to sacrifice
himself to save his friend.
o Punisher, used same techniques for the fighting.
o Sicario – night vision
