PROJECT I AM SAFE (Intensify And Maintain a Safe And Hazard-Free
School Environment)
I. Background and Rationale

According to the Educational Facilities Manual published in 2010, facilities are considered indispensable
to a school; they do not only provide housing for the school but also serve as facilitating agents for all the
educational activities that take place in a school. The availability of safe, secured, adequate and satisfactory
educational facilities will support the teaching and learning processes and ultimately improve the quality of basic
education.
Pursuant to this, San Fernando Central Elementary School aims to improve the school canteen building
so that it can provide better services to the children. In order to realize this, the school created Christmas Variety
Show for a Cause, a fund-raising drive organized by the school with the support of the stakeholders and the
community.
