Earned Value Basis

The earned value is calculated by applying the percentage of completion to a cost amount. The earned value
calculation basis controls which cost amount is used, for example the plan costs or the budget.

POC Weighting:
Project System (PS)

The process of totaling using the project hierarchy.

To use aggregation, you stipulate the weighting to attach to the percentages of completion for the project
elements to determine the percentage of completion on the next level up in the hierarchy.

We must define three statistical key figures:

1. PS: Non-aggregated percentage of completion

2. PS: Aggregated percentage of completion
3. Completion percentage for result analysis
