Content

Activity  During the SMART Board lesson, the teacher presents the

information based on the learning objectives.

 Starting at Lesson 3: This section of the lesson using the SMART

tool discusses what a closed and open circuit are and why they are

different along with examples of the two. This section of the lesson

also shows the history and why we know this works.

 Lastly, the activity gives the students an opportunity to display what

they know through many quizzes encompassing matching and

problem solving.

 Lesson 6: Conductors and Insulators: This section of the lesson

using the SMART tool discusses what a conductor and insulator are

and why they are different along with examples of the two. This

section of the lesson also shows the history and why we know this

works.
 Lastly, the activity gives the students an opportunity to display what

they know through many quizzes and matching exercises.

 During the lesson the students will be listening to the instructor

while they present the information. Then they will be able to display

what they learned through a “Quick Check” approach and participate

in the games and matching exercises.
