QualityControl 3.5
for your X-Rite i1 and eXact
X-Rite eXact support
QualityControl® has just received yet another big update, providing ease of
use and additional functionality to eXact users – it’s not just for the X-Rite Eye-One
anymore.

As more and more Eye-One users have added QualityControl® 3 to their toolbox,
many eXact users have requested the same functionality for their devices as well. This is
especially useful for companies that have both devices, allowing users to communicate
and exchange quality control information and results effectively, as well as for
companies looking to upgrade their measurement devices to the eXact, but not wanting
the lose the capabilities they had with QualityControl® 3 + Eye-One.

Adobe Color Library export

Another important addition in version 3.5 is the ability to export
color libraries to Adobe applications.

QualityControl® 3.5 exports ACO, ACB, and ASE formats,

allowing users to use custom created and fine-tuned color libraries
in their creative applications. This greatly enhances the capabilities
of designers to achieve corporate colors, and work with libraries
for different substrates and printing technologies. As tFLOW® also
works with Adobe Color libraries, QualityControl® can also be
used to fine-tune spot colors, which are then imported into tFLOW®
for automatic color mapping. Other export formats included in this
USA Cornerstone Corporate Center release are CXF, CSV, and IFRX.
