Durable metal boots

Define the problem
Nails keep penetrating boots no matter what the boot is made out of.
Boots need to be able to block any injuries to the foot.
Brainstorm, research, and generate ideas
• I researched that most boots are made of leather and the leather
isn’t durable and wear out over time. Also, leather can’t stop nails
from penetrating the foot. I came up with a idea that what if the
boots were made of metal were light enough to walk around in in
construction or work areas.

• The design must be a light weight model where it can meet the
conditions such as nails, wood, brick, sharp objects, etc.

• In developing new ideas and designs for the product, I thought
of two designs that be affected by two main factors.
• Weight and protection

Implement the proposed solution
The type of material I would need would be some shoe
leather that is resist to rain or water where it doesn’t get
damaged from it. Another part of the boots would be a
lightweight metal that can go on the boots where it can shield
the foot from getting any injury.
