World vision in the commercial , Just like us suggest that people who have opportunite

can help to children with struggle. World vision writes in a formal form tone for people who can

sponsor children with struggle. World vision supports their suggestion by illustrating rhetorical

appeal to pathos because children with struggle they need family, each of them have a dream,

they want live like ordinary children because children everywhere just like us, many their lives

are different. World vision purpose is to show that children have no one who can take care of

them in order to who can be sponsor to children in Africa.

Child sponsorship shows kids in Africa who needs help from us through their use or

pathos. This rhetorical appeal can be defined as emotions.

One example shows the central idea because kids in Africa are struggling. One child told that he

have one meal for one day and it’s not enough and he go so far to get a water, but the water

doesn’t taste nice.

Another example of pathos used in the commercial when they told that they want to be like a

normal child, they want to be like us, how I mentioned before many their lives are different. This

is an example of pathos because they show their emotion and told that they like a football and

netbook , they want to be like us.

This examples supports the central idea because people who can be sponsor for children with

struggles should help them.

World vision expresses the central idea of supporting children in Africa. This is done through the
effective use of pathos.
