A. 1 year Part-time Certificate Courses

Eligibility:
The Part-Time Certificatecourses offered by Faculty of Arts are open ONLY for Regular students of the
BHU currently enrolled in any on-going full-time course of Banaras Hindu University within the
Main Campus of BHU; (excluding Affiliated Colleges and Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha,
Mirzapur). Candidates pursuing Ph.D. program at BHU Main Campus are eligible for admission
within the two years from the date of their registration in Ph.D. program.
 The qualifying examination for above courses will be 10+2 (Intermediate) or higher as the case may be.
 Admission in TWO Certificate/Diploma courses at a time is NOT allowed in any case.

B. 2 years Part-time Diploma Courses

Eligibility:
 The Part-Time Diplomacourses offered by Faculty of Arts are open ONLY for Regular students of the
BHU currently enrolled in any on-going full-time course of Banaras Hindu University within the Main
Campus of BHU; (excluding Affiliated Colleges and Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha, Mirzapur).
 Applicant pursuing Ph.D. program at BHU Main Campus are eligible for admission within the two years
from the date of their registration in Ph.D. program.
 Bonafide BHU students who are inFinal year of their course are NOT ELIGIBLE for Diploma Courses.
 The qualifying examination for above courses will be 10+2 (Intermediate) or higher as the case may be.
 #For Diploma in English, the applicant should possess either Certificate in English or English as subject
at Intermediate level.
 Admission in TWO Certificate/Diploma courses at a time is NOT allowed in any case.

C. Full-time PG DIPLOMA/Bridge Courses

Eligibility:
 The Full-time PG DIPLOMA Courses offered by Faculty of Arts are open to all.
 Applicant should NOT be enrolled in any full-time course of the University/elsewhere.
Note:
 Application for above courses will be available ONLINE only at bhuonline.in
 Applicantpursuing Ph.D. program at BHU Main Campus are eligible for admission within the two years
from the date of their registration in Ph.D. program. Such candidates must submit their application
along with the copy of Registration letter/First Fee Receipt.
 Staff Members of the University are also eligible for these courses, provided that the forms should be
forwarded by the respective Director/Dean/Principal /Head of Department or Offices.
 There will be NO Refund of online application fee under any circumstances.

Process of Application:
1. Applicant should fill online application form and deposit the application fee online (Rs. 200/- each
course for General & Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PC) available at bhuonline.in.

2. Applicant should submit hard copy of application form duly forwarded by the Director/Dean/Principal
of MMV/Head where he/she is enrolled along with the following documents:
i. Fee receipt of the first installment of the enrolled course
ii. Bonafide certificate of the current session from the Department
iii. Marksheet of Qualifying examination, Caste Certificate, Proof of BHU student, Proof of PhD Registration.

3. The Shortlisted Applicants for Provisional Admission, shall bring all the essential documents (Marksheet
of Qualifying examination, Caste Certificate, Proof of BHU student, Proof of PhD Registration etc) in
ORIGINAL, and report to the Admission Committee for Final Verification.

4. Only after the final verification of essential documents, Admit Card will be issued.
