Dear Dr. Betere,

I am a graduate Psychology student of Saint Louis University and currently working

as an Assistant Professor at the William Paterson University and I am writing to
inquire about the possibility of a Speech Psychologist position in your school. I had
read online about your positions vacant and I would like to apply for the position.

My current work is focused on the research of my professors about trauma and its
effects on the personality of the person, neuropsychology, and on speech therapy.
Since starting my work here, way back 2023, I had focused my study about speech
therapy. My work has suggested that a certain amount of percentage of children do
not make the connection between sounds and letters that represent those sounds on
their own. This disconnection, or lack of phonological sensitivity makes learning to
read and spell both arduous and frustrating for beginning readers. This work will
soon be published by the University alongside with numerous works of my
professors here in William Paterson University. Thus, one of the reasons why I would
like to work in your University as a Speech Psychologist.

I am planning a visit a friend in Saranan sometime early this summer. If possible, I

would like to visit your university at that time. I would be happy to personally meet
and present some of my work to you.
