 SUMMARY

SOFTWARE MAGIC PC

This project is based on an information system that is based on installation, advice and
updating. We create a software that carries out the improvement of these tasks, we do not
guarantee only the accomplishment of a good job but also the satisfaction of the clients.
The software will appear by the name "Magic PC", a novel, reliable and modern program with
which customers can feel satisfied, satisfied and that their expectations are met, but above all
what can be used to take them into account the budget of the customers . The goal we want to
achieve with this project is to serve the community and be of great help to society.

PROBLEM APPROACH

Thanks to this advanced technology that we live in today, many people choose to obtain a
computer, either for its exclusive use or simply for keeping updated. Among these people are
from children of about 7 years old, young people, adults, professionals as well as those who do
not, up to the elderly. it can be said that the majority of the population owns a computer due to
the ease that this allows the user either at home, schools and institutes, at work, companies or
other entities in which the management of a computer is essential to perform certain tasks and
thus carry out work activities more effectively and quickly.
as it is in the case of the industrial technical school "José de San Martin", which was founded
in 1884, by General Antonio Guzman Blanco, with a vision of being a high-quality institution,
consonant with technological advances, aimed at the integral formation of middle technicians,
promoters of change, identified with the values of society, capable of generating productivity
and knowledge. (HARDWARE, 2011)
All the computers have to have an approximately monthly maintenance to keep them in a
good state or operative, either by the part of the hardware and software, assembly, updates,
among other things.
IT IS REQUIRED OF

The necessary tools for the execution of the different phases of the creation process of the
software "Magic Pc" describing the best solution to make it come true. Working with
responsibility, working hard to meet our goal and carry out the objectives set and so the
community has at its disposal a more complete and effective information system.

QUESTION
In what way can we create an information system that is easy to manage and that in turn can
find the information they need?

JUSTIFICATION

This project is carried out in order to create an information system that allows advice on
updating, assembling and repairing a computer equipment by consulting easily and quickly the
necessary information of the updates and the different components of said equipment, and its
time of the different technical failures that may arise and the management that should be
given, since this problem is reflected especially in those people who do not have much
information about the handling of such equipment. That is why we set our work to help all
those people who need it and thus contribute to their learning.

In addition, the National Apprenticeship Service (SENA) requires us to prepare said project in
order to obtain our graduation and thus put into practice all the knowledge acquired during the
teaching period received in this institution.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Develop an information system that allows us to create a company specialized in consulting on

the updates of a computer, seeking to optimize the overall processes, focus on providing a
quality guaranteed service with affordable and competitive prices in the market, whose
purpose is to meet the needs and meet the expectations of our customers.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

 Determine which are the potential customers in the market

 Identify the needs of consulting in updates, assembly and repair of computer
equipment.
 Create software that has the largest amount of data related to suggestions for updates,
parts of equipment and all the technological innovation demanded by the market.
 Implement the information system based on software that contains tools and data that
will allow us to respond or solve the needs of our clients.
 Evaluate through indicators the results obtained with the implementation of the
information system that allow us to know the degree of compliance with our objectives
and goals.

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT

This project aims to reach small, medium and large companies that seek to solve the problem
and / or needs for which this information system was designed, using strategies that allow us
to be sustainable in the market with the highest quality standards, reaching a privileged
position in the IT field as pioneers in the development of information systems.

1. Introduction
While it is true that the world has advanced in many aspects thanks to the implementation of
new technologies, there are certain processes in which many companies are small or medium
large prefer to continue implementing old methods that may sometimes be effective but in turn
they only generate a stagnation that does not allow them to be at the same competitive level
as other companies. A clear example is the assembly and maintenance of computers, there
are repair and assembly centers of such equipment, which currently do consulting in books,
encyclopedias and the Internet, but this takes hours to search and often do not get what they
really need.

Due to this we have opted for the development of a software of advice and technical support
for assembly and maintenance of computer equipment, which will have hardware and software
consulting, in addition will have the technical support section that will be very useful to our
customers At the time of consulting about the inconveniences that their computer equipment
presents, they will also be able to clear doubts and concerns since they will have a choice of
frequent questions. By creating software that leads to the improvement of these tasks, we
guarantee not only the performance of a good job but also the satisfaction of the clients.
The Design of Systems defines the process of applying certain techniques and principles with
the purpose of defining a device, a process or a System, with enough details to allow its
interpretation and physical realization.

The stage of System Design involves four stages:

The design of the data

Transforms the information domain model, created during the analysis, into the data structures
necessary to implement the Software.

The Architectural Design

Defines the relationship between each of the structural elements of the program.

The Design of the Interface.

It describes how the Software communicates with itself, with the systems that operate together
with it and with the operators and users that use it.
The design of procedures
Transforms structural elements of the program architecture.

The importance of Software Design can be defined in a single word Quality, within the design
is where the quality of the Project is promoted. Design is the only way to accurately materialize
the client's requirements.

1.1. Purpose of the system

Create a program that contributes to the systematization of internal processes and procedures
in the area of computer maintenance
