2erse014 Wirer Panel SrucureWall Product DataNo, $-1.3 ‘CStructurewall” TECHNICAL INFORMATION tA. Cwinterpanel Pala ets General Description Structurewall™, manufictured by Winter Pane, is a structural grade stresskin pane! for use in panelized home construction. The Panel provides more than two tines the strength ofa standard 2x4 wall system. Itachieves this remarkable strength through its laminated construction, wih two skins of 7/16" oriented strand board surrounding a core of high-density isocyanurate insulation. ‘Structurewall™ is manufactured in a continuous lamination process in which the foam directly bonds tothe skin, providing the highest strength bond possible. The high-density socyanurate insulation (an advanced formulation of urethane) provides very high insulation levels (R-25 forthe 4-9/16" thick pane) and excellent fire safety characteristics. Structurewall™ panel insulate as wellas 9" offberglass or 6" of I-Ip. density expanded polystyrene (EPS), yet at an overall thickness of only 5" for the entre wall system. Application Structurewall™ panels provide an aternative to conventional studwall and rafter ffaming systems in residential and ight commercial buikings, offering superior strength, thermal performance, and ease of instalation. Four-foot wide panek, joined by inset "spline," produce an extremely trong wall or roof system. Upper flor walls are stabiized by tss-joist oor deck systems. Roof loads are carved by rie and purlin laminated beams and the intersecting wal pte or floor platform, 2x4 splines are ‘ypicaly used for sill oor deck attachment, and corer inersections. Dual 5/8” x 3" splines are recommended for panel joints in roofs and wal. Structurewall™ panels may abo be used for enclosing tinber-fame houses here extra strength, seater spans between framing members, of a cabinet base required, These panels are frequently tsed in kitchens and bathrooms, wile CCurtainwall panes (with drywall on te interior) are used in enclosing the rest ofthe tinber frame, 700" Watervoas DIMENSIONS AND PHYSICAL PROPERTIES (OUTER STRUCTURAL SKIN: 7/16" Oriented strand board (OSB), a high-quality exterir-cated, wood composite bord INNER SKIN: Kdentical to outer skin INSULATION CORE: 3-11/16" polyisocyanurate, a minimum 24/? density, Class I closed-cell foam. The foam Insulation contains no formaldehyde or tormeldehyde-rlated chemicals, ADHESION: An extremely strong and durable bond between foam and skins Is proved by the continuous lamination manufacturing process with injected foam expanding against the two skins under pressure.
