Homework
Please note: You can use a monolingual students’ dictionary during the whole of
the examination, except for the listening comprehension part. You can make notes
in your booklet, but please, write your answers on the Answer Sheet.
Part 1 – Writing. You have 60 minutes for the two tasks.
Task 1 Recommended time: 30 minutes
Read the situation and the five guiding points. Write a formal e-mail (120-150 words). Use
four
of the given points. Write your e-mail on the Answer Sheet.
You can get a total of 20 points for this task.
You have seen a job advertisement in “The Weekly Times”. The Three Little Dwarfs Pre-
School and
Kindergarten are looking for nursery teachers in your town. You decide to write an e-mail for
more
information. Use a suitable introduction and conclusion and provide a reference line.
Use four of the following ideas:
• Explain your interest
• State your present job or position
• Provide three items of information about yourself including any experience
• Ask for some work details (training, times, salary, etc.)
• Give your availability

hivatalos levélben vagy emailben, minthogy: My name is ………………
Ekkor a következőt használd
bemutatkozásnál:
My name is Gareth White and I am writing to you on behalf of ……… (ide
helyettesítsd be annak a nevét, akinek a nevében írod a levelet).
Erre a következő kifejezéseket használhatod: regarding; in reference to;
concerning; in relation to… majd ez után leírod leveled fő célját 1-2
mondatban, példákkal:
My name is Gareth White and I am writing to you regarding… (your recent
advertisement for recruitment specialist.)
My name is Gareth White and I am writing to you in reference to…
My name is Gareth White and I am writing to you concerning…
My name is Gareth White and I am writing to you in relation to…
Lényegében ezekkel a kifejezésekkel helyettesíted a kevésbé
hivatalos “about” szót, amit kollégákkal való emailezések során továbbra is
Gyakran használt kifejezés ilyenkor, hogy I hope that you have the time to…
(do sg) (remélem lesz ideje arra, hogy …).
Ezután megismétled a fő okot, amiért írtad a levelet, a példánk
szerint: …review my attached curriculum vitae (átnézni a csatolt
tárgysorban a kerek egész mondat, elég annyi például a fenti levél minta
