PROCESS  Then the teacher present some drawings about directions and ask students Board 55’

 Give students a worksheet and tell them they are going to listen a
conversation. Tell them they are going to complete the missing words Chalk
with the places that they hear
 Students work in pairs to compare their answers. Then students listen
again and check the answers with the whole class once again.
 students receive a worksheet with dialogues they listen before. The
teacher indicates them to listen again and complete the missing words
about directions.
 The teacher monitors the activity
 Then the class check in plenary. Students Highlight the questions
typically used to ask for directions, e.g. `Is there a ... near here?', `How do
I get there?',
 `Excuse me, I'm looking for ...', `Can you tell me the way to ...?'
 Pre-task
 Students organize in groups of three and make a dialog similar to the
examples
 Teacher gives them time to ask for places in the city and think about how
to ask for directions. Encourage them to use a variety of
questions/expressions.
 The teacher demonstrate the activity by asking a strong student the way
to the Nursery church
 .Students do the task and write their dialogue on their notebooks. Teacher
monitors the task and help them if it is necessary

OUTPUT Students present their dialogue 15’


Teacher takes notes if there are mistakes and gives them a quick feedback
about it.
