Purpose Driven Assignment

1 ) What is the difference between purpose, vision, mission and values, and why they are
needed?

Purpose represents the value that you aim to provide to people. It defines why you exist, and
what core benefits you strive to produce. Mission, meanwhile, is how you plan to go about
fulfilling that purpose.Vision is your long-term goal, something grand that you believe your
company or organization can achieve. It’s your idea of the world where your company or
organization succeeds. Finally, your values are why you do what you do. They should align with
all of the above things. They’re what you rely on during hiring, culture setting, and more. They
serve as an anchor and foundation to almost every decision making process.

All of these are necessary for a successful organization or company. If people within the
organization don’t know why they’re doing what they’re doing, or what the end goal is, they’re
less motivated to contribute. Also, setting these broad guidelines can often guide how you handle
day to day operations. Being up front about everything, especially values, makes collaborating
much easier, and it ensures the organization is on the same page.

2) What is the difference between strategies and tactics?

Tactics are the actual means to achieve a goal. On the other hand, strategies is the overall
organization and planning of execution of these tactics. The main difference is scope.

3) What are your sources of inspiration and strength?

My sources of inspiration and strength are my family and friends. During tough times, I often
rely on them to help me get through. Many of my friends’s ambition inspires me to try to do
more and be more.
