Placement Training

OVERVIEW

The long term Pre-Placement Training is provided to all 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year students
from the beginning of their semester itself during their regular classes where 2 hours’ time is
allotted for training in a week. During final year special placement training is provided for 2 weeks
in semester vacations which help them to gain a confidence for the upcoming placements. The
main purpose of the training is to impart skills such as aptitude, reasoning, technical and soft skills
that would aid in the employability of the students. We are providing the training by the well
qualified and experienced trainers who are in this sector since 20 years and have provided training
in some of the top colleges of Karnataka.

Objective
To bridges the gap between corporates requirements and student’s knowledge and skillsets. To
guide and provide right module of training that meets the industry needs and improve their
employability skills.

Syllabus
1 st years– (40Hrs)

Training is mainly focused on discipline, grooming, career planning and building personality. As
it is the first year of the college, students are given awareness about the job market right from the
start so that they prepare accordingly at their own pace and potential. Basic behavioural etiquettes,
eliminating negative thought, developing enriching habits, unlocking individual potentials and
well versed communication is the aim of this program.

2 nd years – (40Hrs)

The training is an extension of the 1st year training with assignments and tasks given based on
individual topics. A practical exposure is given to realise the importance of the skillsets. Students
are exposed to facing their fears and uncomfortable situations such as public speaking, job
interview, group discussion etc. Team building and group activities are also performed to help
students realise the benefits of working in a team for efficient productivity and cooperation.

3 rd years – (40Hrs)

The concentration is on strengthening the student's quantitative, verbal and reasoning skills. The
first filtering round conducted by most of the companies is aptitude test, hence it is a crucial round
to clear in order to proceed to further rounds of interview. The objective is to exercise the student’s
brain and prepare them with common topics as mentioned below. Speed, agility, decisiveness and
time management plays a crucial role while attending the exam. Training includes mock tests
conducted online to prepare the students with real life scenarios.

We are also focused on providing the technical certificate courses for the 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd
year students on below proposed schema, in order to improve their practical technical skills that
meets the industry standards. It is a one week program which is usually planned to conduct after
the even semester examination and training will be provided from the experienced trainers and
from hands on Top industrial expert’s.
