LIBRARY AND STUDIO INT.

- DAY

A redhead teen girl, ALLISON, walks into the library with

confidence. Upon entering, she fixed her slouching white
ankle sock, then carries on to the back of the library.

Cut to Allison being shown working on her model village. Her

paints are lined up on the side of her tiny town, something
that she is very proud of. Allison meticulously paints a tiny
model person, just under the size of her thumb.

Cut to Allison continuing her stroll through the library.

Along the way to the self-help aisle, she fixes tilted books
and touches the shelves with her fingertips as she passes.

Cut to Allison's work on the model village. Now, she is

cutting some wood, then gluing two finished pieces together.
It is hard to determine what she is making.

Allison finds herself in the self-help section of the

library, where she finds a book and returns to the checkout
desk. The librarian comments on the book's title "How to Find
Peace in Chaos," and Allison agrees that it sounds like a
difficult task.

It is revealed that the finished product of Allison's

handiwork is a small model of her house. She places it on the
grass of the little town.

EXT. ALLISON'S HOUSE- DAY

The scene opens with a match cut of Allison's actual home,

and the sound of her parents arguing.

INT. ALLISON'S HOUSE- DAY

Allison walks in with her new library book only to discover

her parents having an argument about something trivial. Upon
noticing Allison, the two immediately snap out of their
aggressive demeanors and speak sweetly to greet Allison.
Allison is annoyed, and turns to go to her art studio. On her
way to the studio, she is confronted by her little (also red-
haired) sister, LILLY, who askes Allison if she would like to
play Barbies with her. Allison declines, but promises to play
the next day. The two hug, then Allison enters her studio.

INT. STUDIO- DAY

Allison sits down at her desk, saddened by her parents

arguing. A figurine of her parent's holding hands sits on her
model. She breaks the two figures apart, and places them at

seperate houses in the little town. She then glues the models
of herself and her sister together, and places them on top of
"How to Find Peace in Chaos." She puts her head in her hands.

INT. CLASSROOM- DAY

Students chatter. DAHLIA, an apathetic stoner girl, chews gum

and texts. Allison sits tall and proper next to her,
shuffling through notes. Allison collects a stack of papers
in front of her, and taps them on the desk. She reminds
Dahlia that their partner project on
tetrachlorodinbenzoparadioxin on the brain, only to find out
that Dahlia already submitted a terrible essay (in both their
names) a day early. Dahlia laughs it off. Allison is silently
fuming with rage.

INT. ALLISON'S HOUSE- DAY

After school, Allison's parents are arguing meaninglessly. On

her way inside, Allison is stopped by her mother, who tells
her that Lilly has been waiting to show her something.
Allison says that she didn't have a good day, and that she
doesn't have time for Lilly.

INT. STUDIO- DAY

Allison angrily enters her studio and screams in frustration.

She kicks off her shoes aggressively, then sits at her desk,
and begins to destroy a tiny figurine of Dahlia, all whilst
cussing her out to herself. Through the panes of the studio's
glass door, the audience can see Lilly, looking disappointed,
holding her Barbies.

INT. CLASSROOM- DAY

It is the next day at school. Allison sits at her desk,

anxiously fidgeting. She is dreading receiving a grade for
Dahlia's terrible project. Dahlia, is not to be seen,
probably vaping in the school bathroom. The TEACHER, a short
blonde woman appears before her and flops the awful essay on
the table in front of Allison. The teacher then proceeds to
ridicule the "crappy work." Allison is upset and frusterated.
Dahlia then "returns from the pooper," and tells Allison "it
is no big deal."

LIBRARY - DAY

After school, Allison stomps into the library. In a scene

very similar (but much angrier) to the opening scene, Allison
charges through the library and checks out a book titled
"People Are Awful: a guide to being vindictive."

INT. ALLISON'S HOUSE- DAY

Allison charges past her parents, who are, of course,

fighting again. She doesn't hear them clearly through all her
rage. The sounds are distant and jumbled. She approaches her
studio and swings the door open.

INT. STUDIO- DAY

When she opens the door, Allison sees her little sister
wrecking her model village with her Barbies. Lilly is playing
quite aggressively with the dolls, and it is ruining all of
Allison's hard work. She drops her new book, and it lands
with a thud. Lilly hears the sound and turns around. Allison
proceeds to scream at her, taking out all her rage on her
sweet little sister. When Lilly begins to cry, Allison
realizes what she has done, then they hug and Allison
apologizes. The camera pans to show the sister model sitting
on the shelf on top of "How to Find Peace in Chaos."
