Mini Controller/Transceiver for controlling Marmitek X-10

modules. Control of 8 modules (addresses 1 through 8) using the buttons
or remote control (infra-red and RF). Buttons for: On, Off, All lights on, All
units off and Dim.
APPLICATIONS
The IR7243 is a quick and easy way to control Marmitek X-10 modules remotely. The unit offers three options:

1.Manual control by pressing the buttons on the unit (8 modules, UnitCode 1 through 8).
Control via an infra-red remote control (Marmitek X-10, Philips Pronto, Fox, One for All). The IR 7243 receives the
signals transmitted by the remote control and converts these to the Marmitek X-10 protocol on the mains.

Installation is easy; no need to use any extra wires. The unit is operational as soon as it is plugged in. The IR7243
comes with a 1.5 m long connection wire.

The HouseCode (A ... P) is selected by turning a dial.

The IR7243 has two LEDs (front and top) which light up when a Marmitek
X-10 command is transmitted via the mains and when an infra-red Marmitek X-10 command is received from a
universal remote control.

2.When an infra-red remote control is used, the UnitCodes 1 through 10 can be controlled.

3.The minicontroller also works as an X10 transceiver for remote controls, motion detectors (MS13) and switches
(SS13).
