Summary
As I prepare to enter my Junior year in Fall '19, I want a summer internship with direct influence and connection to
to my degree. Specifically, I would like to begin my Junior year with experiential and qualitiative knowledge that
shows me (1) how transportation system are studied, (2) who/how influences how transportation initiatives are
developed for communities, and (3) best practices in transportation development and implementation. I would like
to learn and study from individuals and organizations that are creating and/or implementing 21st ideas, technology,

Assisted volunteer groups with beautification and greenery efforts. Managed a city-wide tool loan system. Utilized
GIS data to acquire information about litter & blight in Memphis. Helped facilitate meetings between city
departments and community organizations. Created various graphics for use on department social media
accounts.

General Intern, May 2017 - August 2017
Learned how to process web ticket information for website updated. Created calendars for social media graphics
released per month. Help draft new social media policies for allowing certain types of content to be posted on
government sponsored social media.

Took charge of analyzing survey data for employees relocating to the Washington, DC area. Proposed and
completed a set of maps with current housing & transportation data to assist relocating employees. Helped to
upgrade the website portal used by relocating employees. Interpreted survey data that was used to assist in the
