of your body? Go cycling, jogging, playing badminton, cricket, kho-kho ------
anything that will make you run and help you build up your stamina.

READING FOR PLEASURE

book after the vacation.

SECTION C
SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND TRAVELOGUE

Q1. It is rightly said, “You are what you eat”. Observe the eating habits of your family
for a week. Find out the sources of food used in at least five dishes. Also
mention the ingredients used for cooking each dish.

Q2. Watch Discovery Channel every day and collect latest information on space
(Any 5).

Q3. Conduct a survey of your car, open its bonnet with the help of an elder and
observe the components of car. Also find tools present in car's tool kit. Name
them and give their usage.

Q4. Collect old and discarded objects and material like glass bottles, plastic bottles,
coconut husk, wool, greeting cards and any other thing. Can you make
something useful out of these for decoration purposes?

Q5. During the vacation you must be visiting some places in India or abroad. For
going there you need some preparations. Make a project report on your visit
which should include:
a) Preparations you made for your journey (ticketing, visa, clothes according to the
weather)
b) Route from Delhi to that place on a map of India/ World.
c) Longitude and Latitude degree of that place. Average maximum and minimum
temperature of that place.
d) Pictures of monuments and worth seeing places. Make a video recording of the
same.

e) Also paste a picture of the place that you visited with your family.

SECTION D

AWARENESS AND INFOTAINMENT

Q1. Make a chart on the topic “Say no to poly bags”. You can use MS-Paint or TUX
paint to draw, paint and then paste it on the chart.

Q2. Shoot any live, funny scene of one minute and store it in a CD.

Q3. You must be watching IPL matches. Make a scrap book with –
1. Logos and captains of all the teams.
2. Highest scorer of each team.
3. One famous cricketer of each team.
4. Picture of winner team with the trophy.

Q4. Read Newspaper everyday. There is weather forecast every day. Read it and
see if the predictions are correct. Make a record of number of hot and humid
days, cloudy days, number of days with dusty weather and rainy days from 1st
to 15th June.
