Pride Sample

During my first two years of high school I was lost and I was honestly in such

a dark place because of everything I had going around me. It wasn't until my junior

year that I really started growing my relationship with God. One of my biggest you

can say accomplishments is growing closer to God and this lead to me get baptized

in his name. I truly felt like this changed me for the better and it helped me so much.

So I am very proud of this and I can proudly say this had been to me the greatest

thing that has happened so far. I was in this path for about a year and I never really

felt complete until I finally made the decision to get baptized. I was at a youth

convention and they showed a video where a girl got baptized during this and after I

prayed and prayed to find and God spoke to me and told me this was the right thing

to do. So I did I spoke to my preacher and told him I was ready and it happened and

when I say I have never felt this feeling before I mean it it was the best feeling ever.

This is very important to me because it healed me I was going through so much and

I had no idea what to do or what could help me. After this I was a completely

different person I didn’t feel pain or hurt. The example I showed is the certificate of

my Baptism which doesn’t really have importance because to me it's a piece of

paper, and what is really important is the actual fact that I got Baptized in his name

and how much closer my relationship is to God because of this. I take a lot of pride in

this because of how much it means to me. Many people would tell me that its not

that big of deal but to me it is because I know that he is now forever going to be with

me and in any time of trouble I can talk to him. That was exactly what I did during my

hardships in high school. I 100% believe he helped me get through these 4 years
and is going to continue being with me through the next steps that i’m going to take

in the future.
