2725 Alarm Reduction
Description of Problem:
Reduction of 2725 ADJACENT CELL IDENTIFIER CONFIGURATION ERROR
Impact:
No major impact due to 2725 alarms, but its indicative of bad handover definitions in
the network which can result in huge Handover failures and thereby in call drops.
Corrective Action:
ZEAT clean up done. All Handovers having same BSIC and BCCH were deleted if
not required. All unwanted neighbours still defined even after site migrations were
deleted.
After completion of the handover audit action GNSC team was asked to clear the
existing alarms, because these alarms will not get cleared on their own and will repeat
again. Alarm count was drastically reduced from 1500+ to less than 200.
