Graduation Speech
Graduation Speech
It has been a long six years and a short six years. Good or bad, long or short, I will
always remember this place. While I’m thrilled to be our valedictorian, I can’t say I’ve spent
as many hours as some of us have between these halls. Our teachers, of course, spend an
inhuman amount of time here and many students do as well.
Fellow classmates, today is an important day in all of our lives. As we gather here to
celebrate more than a decade of long, hard years of learning, we’re surrounded by all of the
people who taught and inspired us throughout our lives.
You can’t make a cloudy day a sunny day, but you can embrace it and decide it’s
going to be a good day after all. I wish you all the best of luck in high school. You can do this.
Thank you.
