Learning priority:​ Develop a sense of belonging

During March, I was away on a placement. The other

teachers told me that Wafiy was feeling a bit sad that he
doesn’t have anyone who speak the same language as
him and understand him. Wafiy was always looking
outside the window, waiting for his parents to come.
Settling in can be quite hard, especially when no one
understand you. All the teachers was trying so hard to
get you involved with the routines.

It is really lovely that you have develop trust and a sense

of attachment to me, as this will definitely help you to
settle in and begin your learning at AnNur.

InsyaAllah we will work hard to make you feel secure and

comfortable with the routines and environment. A sense
of belonging can boost your confidence and can
contribute to your wellbeing.
I look forward to see you when I am back from my
placement.
