LIGA NG MGA BARANGAY (LnB) – NUEVA ECIJA CHAPTER ELECTED THEIR NEW

OFFICERS

CABANATUAN CITY – The recently concluded Synchronized Barangay and Sangguninag Kabataan
(BSKE) election ushered in a new set of local officials, requiring the organization of the Liga ng mga
Barangay (LnB) Chapters at the Municipal, City, Provincial and Metropolitan Political Subdivision levels
to elect their new respective officers as provided in the Article One, Chapter I, Title Six. Book III of the
Local Government Code of 1991. The LnB helps in determining the representation of the Liga in the
sanggunians, and for ventilating, articulating and crystallizing issues affecting barangay government
administration. In the case of LnB Provincial Chapter, the members are the duly elected LnB President of
all its Cities and Municipalities.

On June 30, 2018, the Provincial Chapter of Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) in Nueva Ecija elected their
officers at the Auditorium, Old Capitol Compound, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. The election was
supervised by the DILG as provided in the DILG MC No. 2018-90 entitled “Guidelines in the conduct of
LnB Chapter Elections at all levels”.

The following were the proclaimed winners of the election and were sent to the National Executive Board
for confirmation:

VALENTINO P. MUNCAL - LnB President of Gabaldon

REYNALDO C. SANTOS - LnB President of Llanera
