Reason of Project

The reason of the project proposed is to ensure the safety of the residents of the area
covered and to provide an economic yet strong retaining structure to the sloping ground over
the desired location. By implementing the design to the location, the possibility of landslide over
the area will be lowered in case of natural disasters.

Location

The location of the project proposed is in Lamut Road, Ambiong, La Trinidad, Benguet.

Description of Location

Lamut Road, Ambiong, Latrinidad, Benguet is a residential area which has a small
population and has small buildings and structures. The location is prone to landslide because it
has many steep sloping grounds which may fall during strong typhoons.
Dimensions

We have measured the height of the sloping ground for three different location with one
meter apart and we acquired the average approximate height as 4.8 meters, 8 meters long
and the angle at the top of the slope is 10 degrees approximately.
