Appreciation

Before I was in high School I was young minded and selfish. I had manners but

sometimes I would lose sight of them. There would be times in my life that I just did not care

and I was fine with it, there was a subject that belittled me I would just drop it and accept the fact

that maybe I would be able to be mediocre and give n the summer as summer weights were along

I met a man by the name of coach scheidt. Coach Scheidt was a football coach that broke all my

habits of being lazy. Throughout these past four years he has really shown me how to become a

man of my own.

Coach Scheidt is a righteous man that only cares about turning young teenage boys into

men. Coach is a father figure to some of the other boys in the program including me. Hardship,

loyalty, and strength is what makes up the majority of the way he is. Coach is very serious when

it comes to business, there is no room for games and mean no room for odd behavior. Coach

Scheidt wants us to be the best versions of ourselves and I truly agreed with him when we first

said that in summer weights. Scheidt is a pusher he pushes you to do your best because he knows

you can he knows all of us have it in us.

If I never would have had coach scheidt as my coach in highschool I do not think I would

be the man I am today, yes we have bumped heads a bit throughout the years but we never let

that stop us from having a relationship. I will be one of the many to say that coach Scheidt had

changed my life in such a great way. I will be extremely honest if he was not in my life I would

have dropped out of football and settle for a mediocre lifestyle that I was used to thinking about.
He made me reevaluate my whole existence and made me think “ why am I here, what will I do

with my life” that stuck with me and truly made me want to better myself because we only have

one life to live and it is up to me to guide the sails of my ship to take me somewhere great.

Coach invested his time in me so that I can be ready for what's to come in the near future and I

can handle anything thanks to coach.
