Linda Freund, M.Div.

Volunteer Services Coordinator

Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care of Colorado
 9191 Sheridan Blvd.,

Dear Ms. Freund,

I appreciate your quick response as I am very interested in your program and being of

service to others. I believe your organization to be one of the best in this area of work.

I watched the Training Module 1 and found it to be very informative and also very

familiar for me as I have read all of Elizabeth Kubler Ross’s books regarding this subject. In

addition to this, I' have done a basic course on the art of good dying, in my country and a course

on "Death", which was one of the most eye opening and interesting course I have been.

I agree with and believe that we have to become acquainted with death and we have to

change the paradigm of fear regarding it. We, as an eastern society, need to change the concept

of life and death, as well develop the knowledge of a "good death".

I am looking forward to meeting with you in person, next Wednesday May 8th, I am an

interpreter and translation student at CCA, and I think I can help in those moments in which we

need to comfort families and friends of people that are transitioning to the next level.
I am ready to begin the journey of assisting others in finding a better way to die.

Sincerely,

Irene Mendozza
