CLEAN-UP DRIVE
ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

In order to promote awareness and help maintain cleanliness of the environment,

Mambungalon Elementary School spearheaded a Clean-up Drive in Barangay Mambungalon last
September 23, 2018.
The Clean-up Drive was participated by SPG and YES-O officers, GPTA officers, Philippine
Coast Guard, teachers, and pupils.
They picked up plastics and garbages along the shore of Mambungalon. The pupils learned
to segregate biodegradable and non-biodegradable wastes.
Through this, the pupils and all the participants became more aware of the importance of
conserving and safeguarding the environment for future generation and to avoid the worst effects
of man’s abuses on it.

TREE PLANTING
ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

To develop deep sense of responsibility in caring for the environment, the SPG, YES-O,
GPTA, teachers, and pupils participated in the Mangrove Tree Planting spearheaded by the
Philippine Coast Guard held in Sitio Tumandoc, Mambungalon, Mercedes, Camarines Norte last
August 25, 2019.
The PCG conducted short orientation of importance of planting mangrove trees in
Mambungalon Elementary School. Then they proceeded in planting the trees in Sitio Tumandoc.
