To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter on behalf of Karrissa Sotelo. I have had the pleasure of knowing Karrissa for
four years. Karrissa Is hardworking and a well-rounded individual. She has been involved in FFA for
the past four years. She has served as our 2016 Greenhand Secretary, 2017-2018 Chapter Vice
President, and 2018-2019 Chapter President.

Karrissa is respectful, diligent and has shown great passion in everything she does. She works well
on her own and collaboratively, her work with members demonstrates she is a cooperative individual
with great potential. Equally as impressive is her character, she is a kind-hearted and precocious
individual. She has a willingness to help others, a positive attitude and takes responsibility for her
priorities.

Outside of FFA Karrissa is involved in many other activities such as: waterpolo, soccer, California
Scholarship Federation and her church’s youth group. She has competed on the floral design team,
parliamentary procedure team, and extemporaneous speaking. Karrissa has also been actively
involved with our community service activities within our FFA chapter. She has attended the
Farm2U Day for four years and has organized a workshop at this event for the past two years. She
has participated at the Empty Bowl Project, a fundraiser for the homeless, for the past three years
and has also volunteered at a nursing home.

Karissa's career goal is to become a Radiology Technician. Karrissa is constantly talking about her
future and shows and extreme passion for her career goal and objectives. Any opportunity she has to
better herself as a student, she rises to the occasion and becomes successful at whatever she wants to
do. Although I am happy to see her transition into adulthood, I will be sad to see her leave.
