1. SCOPE

This procedure specifies Purchaser’s/ Company’s scope of inspection at Supplier’s shop for
instrument equipment & materials to be used for REALISATION DES INSTALLATION DE
PRODUCTION D’HUILE.

2. SCOPE OF INSPECTION

2.1 When witness inspection is required, Supplier is requested to perform a successful pre-test by
himself prior to Purchaser and / or Company inspection to avoid failure of test.

2.2 When witness inspection is required, Supplier shall note the following:

1) Supplier shall provide all test equipment and facilities required for the inspection at his
cost if requested by Company’s/ Purchaser’s Inspector.

2) Supplier shall furnish sufficient personnel to perform the inspection at his cost.

3) All applicable documents such as the latest specifications, vendor’s drawings shall be
available at Supplier’s shop for Company’s/ Purchaser’s Inspector

2.3 For all inspections, Supplier shall make available for the Company’s/ Purchaser’s Inspector
all test records and certificates, whether witnessed or non-witnessed.

2.4 Company/Purchaser reserve the right to witness or audit Supplier ’s quality control at
Supplier’s facilities.

2.5 Completion of the witnesses inspections and document review by the Purchaser’s/
Company’s Inspector does not relieve supplier of his responsibilities or obligations under the
purchase order.

2.6 The attachment summarizes the scope of inspection.

2.7 The attachment also specifies the necessary records and certificates that shall be prepared by
Supplier.

2.8 Inspection grade may be increased or decreased based on Supplier’s performance.

2.9 Based on this procedure, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) shall be developed and submitted to
Purchaser for approval prior to inspection.

2.10 These parties reserve the right to observe any inspections or tests during fabrication.

3. EXTENT OF WITNESSED INSPECTIONS

3.1 Abbreviations and Definitions

Abbreviations used in this specification are as follows:

FW : Full witness inspection/test

The Supplier shall submit witness inspection notice to Purchaser. Should the Purchaser
decide not to witness the inspection and the Supplier is advised in writing from
Purchaser, the Supplier can proceed to the next stage.

SW : Spot Witness inspection/test

The Supplier shall submit witness inspection notice to Purchaser. Should the Purchaser
not attend the inspection, the Supplier can proceed to the next stage irrespective of such
notice in writing from the Purchaser.

R: Verify by reviewing the Supplier’s inspection/test record.

3.2 Supplemental Explanations

“Spot witness” means to carry out the witnessed test on sampled (e.q.10% random)
instruments from a lot per type unless otherwise specified. The minimum quantity to be
inspected shall be one per lot.

Instruments with accessories of the same specification being ordered under an issue of
Purchase Order are defined “one-lot”.
(These instruments shall be manufactured under the same process from same material batch.)

Inspection/test records of FW,SW and R shall be included in MRB.

The records of SW shall cover all items. i.e., SW records and vendors inspection/test records
for not spot inspected items.

The test/inspection items to be carried out by the Vendor/Purchaser/ Principal in the Tables I
through V attached.

4. Manufacturing Record Book (MRB)

At the final acceptance of the equipment or materials, Supplier ’s test and inspection
records/reports shall be compiled into Manufacturing Record Book (MRB) and shall be
submitted for review to inspector.
For the detail, refer to S-000-1530-101 for “Inspection Coordination Procedure with
Supplier”.
