Brian Kevin Turner is a world-class business builder with experience managing large
and complex organizations. His expertise lies in building, leading management and design of
large organizations, information technology, high performance team building and strategic
business growth and development. He graduated in East Central University and took up
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, General from 1983-1987.
Prior to Microsoft, Turner spent nearly 20 years at Walmart.
Turner began as a cashier at Walmart in 1985 while attending college; upon getting
his degree, he stayed at Walmart and worked his way up -- becoming the youngest corporate
officer named at Walmart at the age of 29. He later rose to the level Executive Vice President
and Chief Information Officer for Walmart Stores Inc. Subsequently, he was appointed CEO
and President of Sam’s Club and Executive Vice President of Walmart Stores Inc. in 2002.
In 2005, he announced his move to Microsoft. Also his experiences include being a Co-
founder in Big Horns Enterprises, Washington and Texas from Jan 2014-present, Vice
Chairman of the Board of Alberto’s Companies from August 2017-present, CEO and
President of Sam’s Club from January 2002-August 2005.

Microsoft hired Turner to improve customer satisfaction, and the overall sales and
marketing execution by re-building the team and instilling more clarity, a customer focus and
relentless discipline in their operations and salesforce. Most of all, he led an operation of
over 51,000 employees in more than 190 countries for more than 11 years.

Turner helped increase the company's yearly revenue from $37 billion to over $91
billion during his tenure, and he drove the improvement of customer satisfaction to all-time
highs for the company. For his final achievement at Microsoft he was very instrumental in
leading the company’s transition to the cloud.
