Narrative Report

As part of our first and second semester, we are required to take and enroll this

NSTP or National Service Training Program subject. We the first year students of

College of Teacher Education, BEED course enrolled in one of the 3 NSTP programs

( Literacy Training Service, Reserve Officers’ Training Corps and Civic Welfare

Training Service), which was the Literacy Training Service. It is design to train and to

teach arithmetic and literacy skill to school children, out of-school youth and other

segments of society in need of their service. This course also designed to provide

students with adequate knowledge of the various principles and methods relevant to

the teaching and learning process. It aims to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and

values of the youth to make them more responsive in the pursuit of peace and

development.
 Our Experiences in NSTP

In our first semester in our NSTP, we have a great and wonderful welcome

ceremony to all the students of NSTP at the Social Hall. It was organized and they

presented to us our respective teacher of NSTP, LTS.

Our LTS adviser is Mr. Ramir S. Bañez. Our class of LTS is Saturday only at 8

o’clock in the morning and our adviser checked the attendance. After it, we will begin

our lesson or discussion. In our first semester, we have learned

 What I have I learned from the whole?

We learned that we should do our responsibility and duty as a student as well as a

youth. We learned that every people have different point of view. We learned that

value of friendship because in our NSTP class, we met new friends to other sections

like BEED 1A and ABEL. We are adding them to the list of our families in our lives.

We also learned the value of teamwork because you cannot finish or done a thing

without the help of others. We also learned how to be a good teacher in the future

because our adviser asked some of the graduating students who were excelled in their

post and final demonstration. From the demonstration that we have watched, we

learned how to have a nice instructional materials and how to be an effective.

We were designated in front of the comfort rooms. We thought it is simple but

when you are in actual performing the maintenance and sustainability of the CTE

campus, you will find difficulties if you are not that kind of responsible at the first

time. We planted flowers in order for our garden to look beautiful and nice. Our

adviser wanted us to work all because he did not want us to become lazy and no

participation at all.

Every Wednesday, we were the group who will clean and dig the plants. We

learned how to take good care of plants and to make our garden even CTE campus

clean and green. NSTP is not only an ordinary subject but it is an extraordinary
through this, we can learn a lot of things. It set our mind of what does a real world of

Teaching is all about. It is vital to one’s improvement and preparing us to our career is

the best way to set us on success.
