The favorable capital city for the world

The world is endowed with many cities with different features including from economic

powerhouses, cultural richness, and sports, among others that make these cities a center of

attraction for people. In particular, some features distinguish urban centers from one another

despite the many similarities among them. Some of the most common features that differentiate

these cities are job opportunities, the standards of living, and infrastructure and manufacturing

sectors. However, a more balanced city is London because of its technological readiness,

economic clout, and diversity.

London is a technological readiness city among the world best cities based on tech-rich

cities around the world. In 2017, PwC released report ranking cities based on technology

richness, and London came second after Singapore with 59%. The report primarily focused on

the ability of world cities to adopt new technology and transform the lives of its people by

offering solutions to problems in many sectors such as healthcare, education, and security,

among others {Rades n.d). The study based on variables such as technological readiness,

strategies that support the integration and utilization of the new infrastructure. It also based on

the presence of already finished prototypes and the willingness of the citizens of these cities to

use new technology. Therefore, with the readiness to adopt new technology, London is a city that

offers fast solutions to problems by taking advantage of the latest technology hence a city suited

for being the world capital city.

London is economic clout making it one of the world best economically endowed cities

in the world. London has overtaken New York, Tokyo, and Paris to become the world best cities

courtesy to its economic robustness. London is international travel as well as city tourism

gateway. According to the PCW report, the city has claimed the center for finance, business and

job opportunities around the world compared to any other city (Reese, 2017). With many job

opportunities in the UK's capital, London is a home for billionaires around the world. World

most paying jobs are also found here, for instance, senior executives, marketing as well as sales

directors, medical doctors and people in legal fields. These balances make London the best city

in the world.

Diversity in the United Kingdom makes London the best city in the world. London boasts

of over 270 nationalities with a minimum of 300. Some of the key examples that display

diversity in the capital include the election of Sadiq Khan, a Muslim and son of a driver to show

openness as well as tolerance of the people of the city while at the same time celebrating the

diversity of the city. The recent brexit-sentiments including the attacks, the people of London

came together in solidarity by sending a powerful message to the world that no matter the

differences in religion, race, sex, and gender, everyone is welcome to London because that is

where all people belong. Therefore, due to its diversity, London is better placed to be a world

capital.

In conclusion, the balanced nature of London in terms of technological readiness,

economy, and diversity, its better suited to be the world capital. It embraces new technology to

drive its sectors to improve the lives of its people. The city is an economic powerhouse and

houses some of the world billionaires. It is home to more than 270 nationalities and over 300

spoken languages makes the city a true definition of diversity. London is the best choice of

world’s capital city.
