Printing and photocopy business is a very lucrative business one can engage
within campus environment, that is why streets in the campus is filled with so
much shop where people can print and photocopy their work. In some institution
they are so predominant that it may seems as if there is no other business people
can do than to print and photocopy but what surprises me most about this people
is that they are always busy do one printing or photocopy whenever I see them.
To cover it up their daily revenue is more than just taking something little home
as this people can still employ and pay people to from this daily income. I know
married people who take their family bread and water from this business. If
people can derive their family bread and water from printing and photocopy
business, you too can make big earnings of which you have a better advantage
than them been a student.

1.4 LOCATION OF THE BUSINESS

The Creative Printing and Photocopy Enterprise is located at No 10, Jalan

Ampany, 50450 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The location is strategic because it is at the
centre of a housing area where there are University, primary and secondary
schools and shopping malls.

1.6 FACTORS IN SELECTING THE PROPOSED VENTURE

We choose this business because there an opportunity and potential to make

profit at Kuala Lumpur area. Besides that, there are a few reasons that attracted us
to choose this business and its location. Altogether, there are three reasons why
we decided to establish Creative Printing and Photocopy Enterprise.

Firstly, we observed that the Kuala Lumpur area lacks of printing and
photocopy services. This is a great opportunity our company to be the only choice
of customers living in this area. Our business will be the first to introduce printing
and photocopy services in this area and will be able to attract many customers.

Thirdly, there are many lecturers in University Malaya at Kuala Lumpur. In

the University Malaya, there are two printing and photocopy shops. It is very
difficult to communicate the two shops because many students and lecturers went
there. So, if we open a company of printing and photocopy nearby
University Malaya it is very easy to communicate by giving the assignments and
exam papers to print.

Secondly, there are many students and workers within targeted market in this
area. Many of them need to do assignments and documents for their works and
studies. For this reason, we assume that some of them will require our services to
print and photocopy the assignments and documents.
 1.6 FUTURE PROSPECT OF THE BUSINESS

Once of the business is financially stable, I plan to open other branches and
expand my business in other places. Besides that, I would also like to improve and
upgrade the quality of services and workers in the company. To provide better
quality services, I plan to hire well-trained and experienced workers who had been
worked at printing and photocopy shops.

As a conclusion, this business has a good future prospect by fulfilling the

needs of students, lecturers and residents in the area of Kuala Lumpur.

2.0 PURPOSE OF PREPARING A BUSINESS PLAN

The business plan is prepared as a guide for managing the proposed business venture in
printing and photocopy. Since this is a new company, a guide is very important to assist
us in understanding the nature of a printing and photocopy business and the working
components of the company. In preparing the business plan, we have listed down the
plans and strategies of the business in order to achieve the company’s goals. This
business plan is also prepared to obtain a working capital loan from AFFIN for an amount
of RM20,000.
Other than that, the purpose of this business is to maximize profits for me and my
workers while maintaining corporate social responsibility.

5.0 BACKGROUND OF THE PROPOSED PROJECT
5.1 Physical location
Heavenly Fruit Jelly is located at Unit B3-6-2, Laguna Condo Resort
Batu 9, Jalan Pantai Teluk Kemang 71050 Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.

5.2 Price of premise

The premise is owned by a itself and the rent is lower than market rate. Expenses
for the rent cost about RM200 per month.

5.3 Distance from the source of raw materials.

 We get the raw materials from suppliers around the Seremban area. Our main supplier
is Priya Rajenderan which is located at Bandar Seremban Selatan.The supplier always
guarantees that the materials are not faulty.

5.4 Availability of manpower

Since this business requires skilled workers,the search for available manpower needs to
be expanded to other areas. I planned to maintain the number of workers in the first year
and search for some staffs in Seremban.

5.5 Transportation facilities

Customers can reach our premise by walk and car.The location is also convenient for
our supplier to deliver the raw materials. We also provided door delivery.

5.6 Distance from customers

Our business is located 500 meters from the nearest college and housing area, which
makes it very easy to frequent.

Our business place is completed with water and electricity supplies, and internet
connection. These basic amenities are provided in order for all workers to perform and
accomplish their jobs more efficiently and productively.
